    Great news Bluestang,

I am very happy that your whole family is doing very fine. The satisfied looks on you and your wife's faces are beautiful to watch.

That kid definitely looks like a future Olympian, you better get back to the gym and do a little running if you hope to keep up to him...

So happy for you guys. Congratulations !!!

The opening lines of "Tale of two cities" come to mind here...

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.....

Best in that son and mother are doing well, worst in that there are always fears when things don't quite go as planned. I really hope the pair of you can enjoy this moment and that, together with your new son, life will be smiles all round.

Just got back from the hospital a few moments ago. I took my tablet so I could show my wife all the wonderful posts everyone made here and in the other thread.

You all made her cry...but that's a good thing! She needs all the support she can get (her parents are not much use sorry to say), so what you guys all have said has really helped.

    I thank you once again

    Some updates:

Mom came home from the hospital Tuesday evening. She is doing well!

Sullivan is still there, but they did moved him from the NICU to the Continuing Care NICU on Tuesday as well...that's a good thing!

We went back up to hospital yesterday and he was feeding well and they said he might be able to come home Friday/Saturday. However I just got off the phone with my wife and he had a heart rate dip so now it is looking like Sunday if everything goes well.

    Day by day!

Congrats. Will be a slow process but looks like things will get better. Pics are great. Post some more. Wish you and family the very best. So guess its time to build a cruncher for the little fella. I can donate a pair of xeon woodcrest 2ghz processors if you don't mind socket 771.

Congratulations and ahh, well, you just tell yourself your going to bed but don't think that means your going to get any sleep!
A long path is ahead of you and that darling bambino will demand all you can give.
Now, a favor, walk over and give your Mrs a hug from me and tell her I said "What a beautiful child!"
