Two to one? So many consoles? I thought MS would sell way less consoles.

I did to but last night i saw a forum where a disturbingly large group of Xbox fanboys where defending all the crap about the XboxOne.

There must be more fanboys then we thought.

I know a few people who wil be getting a next gen console and they all are going to get PS4s and non of them have bothered pre-ordering yet.

And we all know how it wil work in the end. If someone doesnt know what console to get but he hears his m8s are all getting PS4s that person wil also get a PS4.

True. Nintendo is big in my house. Especially Mariokart. My kids still bust out the N64 once in a while. Looks horrible on a 52" LCD but they get a kick out of it. The PS3 collects dust other than the occasional blu-ray. No idea where the 360 is nor do I care. I didn't pay for it.

if the ps4 is sold out, then it might mess with those preorder ratios.

Well the launch edition just guarantees you have a ps4 at your house on launch day, there is still preorder for standard ps4 its just not guaranteed to be at your house launch day. Baisically sony was willing to promise will will have at least this many ps4 ready for launch, we will try to build more but this is the least amount we will have

if you have settings to blur your LCD you should do it...would look better...it was designed for CRTs after all :P

Before you let which consoles in your house again? Neither the Xbox1 or the PS4 is out yet, so you havent had any of them in your house yet.
If you are buying consoles for your(young?) kids, why in the hell would you buy anything but a nintendo in the first place?

Im looking forward to both consoles personally. Im getting the playstation for the exclusives as always, and this time around im very much considering getting the Xbox for its exclusives aswell(yes i couldnt care less about about used games and being online, i have every game ive ever bought, and i have internet).

Not surprised that the PS4 is outselling the XBox. First off, the PS4 uses the 'next better' processor than the xbox. Then MS disclosed their used game policy, the fact that it's not backwards compatible with the first xbox AND your required to connect to the net every 24hrs. Then you have the embarrassing bust at E3 when they used a hidden gaming PC and told peeps they were previewing the XBox One's performance. MS deserves to get pawned! Oh...not to mention, it's also $100 cheaper. :P

Good for Sony, I hope they will succeed, as as for Microsoft, they deserve to lose after the they pulled recently. I sure as hell won't be buying an Xbox One after hearing all of Microsoft's ridiculous policies.

Your just old fashioned ...............ppl these days have no idea how they should use the latest and greatest consoles, but microsucks does, they really do know better what the consumer wants and needs, and they will make damn well sure you use their products as they intended

Just ran across this at TT....

PS4 demolishes Xbox One in an Amazon/Facebook customer poll

"They asked readers which next-gen console they prefer, the PS4 or the Xbox One and the results are absolutely huge. The PS4 has 31,689 votes and the Xbox One has just 1,754 votes - yes that is not a mistake."

i disagree. if they knew the customer they would have abandoned the kinect. the usage of it from the 360 should show it was a fad or for kids. for the xb1 its looked at as an extra cost to the consumer. for parents who are buying something for their young kids, a cheap 360 would be just fine anyway. only people who are older and buying things for themselves would appreciate the graphics upgrade, and they typically are not the kinect users. i cant see any logic in what they are doing, unless what they are doing is selling information found with the kinect.

Going to be fun to quote that in 5-10 years :P

With how much better the new one works, the inconvenience of using it will be gone (Having to make sure the lighting is adequate, requiring you to be 6 feet away and have it focus on you first). Now you can have games made that are 95% controller controlled but then let you just lift your hand up to grab a door knob and control how fast/slow you open it.

How cool would it be to play a Star Wars game with the controller then just lift your hand to do a force blast or force choke someone as Vader :P
You couldn't have those hybrid games in the past because the Kinect required too much calibration and hassle before locking on and being able to be controlled by you.

The rest of the stuff is pretty much exactly what we have as PC Gamers with Steam, so of all places I'm a little surprised at all the hate for those changes when everyone here should be use to them by now. We haven't needed CD's to play games since the 90's, the price for that was CD Keys and now Steam, which prevented sharing/used sales of games.

Doesn't matter to me either way, in the end it just means a new PC Controller and potentially more games due to the x86 architecture :P

it looks great if you get an upscaler. Not sure it's worth $500 to you to play mario kart though

star wars games get less fun as they get more physically demanding. and choking someing is a simple movement, no need to get perfect tracking. a 'smart tv' can figure out basic movments like that. i will stick with my statment that kinect is a burdon for the customers and because it cannot be done right it will go away. and by done right it needs to be like the wii, cheaper system with a new control style built from the core. kinect is still an addon, and still attached to an expensive console.

Last numbers I saw the PS4 was being ordered 8 to 1.

Not to mention the X-Box One is basically a NSA telescreen.

Don't underestimate the power of fanboys. They buy their console no matter how bad option it would be on the paper.
