Hi all,
Recently I've been having weird random freezes from my computer... However it doesn't totally crash. It stops responding for 4-5mins and then continues like normal without crashing any open app or anything.
I have the computer you see in my signature.
Any idea what the cause could be?

It's the Hard drive, or SSD, or bad sata cable.
Iv'e this happen twice. One was a bad hdd, and the other time it was a bad sata cable (the contacts were corroded)

Try a different sata cable, port, and what was the most recent change to your system? adding sdd ?

Thanks man.. I ended up formatting cause everything got corrupted and win 8 couldn't boot no matter what.... It now seems like it is working fine.... I am lucky I had back up of all my files!

After formatting/secure erasing, setting bios to ahci mode and reinstalling windows it seems it's flying.... Fingers crossed!
