Good old Frost King, it works much better than tape at sealing air out of the first and third dimm slots as you can see all the slots were bone dry, i.e. no condensation.

    Hi All and Nick,

i have now that OC Formula Z87, and have a problem, formula drive 1.049 and Timing Configurator 2.03 have no funktion, its that normal or bug?
Offical Drive says failer if will change Multi or Vcore "90.0469 is not valid floating point", but i see the monitoring for Vcore, the Drive from first site of the Forum function but i have no monitoring for Vcore.
Question: has the OCF M the same Problem or only the normal OCF ? i have try all Biose and 4. new installed Windows 7 64bit. no chance.

INTEL block the real-time timing change on z87 this time . So sad

Rig is broken down and being cleaned off using running hot water. should come out like a champ with its conformal coating.

zero issues last night with condensation, humidity was a little more than normal here in socal, but zero problems for an 8 hour pi session. just vaseline the dimms and let it rock. i did such a piss poor job at "insulating" with napkins lol. whatever works, they are just there to catch the drips as it defrosts.

...and it booted right up again before i started to clean it off this morning.

incase you are saying "thats alot of frost" there is alot of white napkin below that frost... but about an 1/4 inch thick piece of ice covering both the top and bottom corner of the motherboard to put it into perspective.

Allen, start clamping that block down. I have shots of -170 (where bbse coldbug) on dimms

Gotta look into this more, but my bbse was doing 6-9-6 @ 2600 last night right when i began overclocking, then after a few reboots and usual setup tweaks, it wouldn't do below c8 (avexir bbse not good air ones) thats when i switched to PSC. i have to figure out what i did that made it not drop cas anymore and never do it again.

Ok, now I feel guilty for selling my BBSE!

PSC (air) on Haswell disappoints the hell outta me, i'm quite liking my CFR though

Frost King link from the Depot for inquiring minds, I love this stuff it always goes on the bottom of the mb where the ram slots are and now lately over the first and third dimm slots as it creates an air tight seal once it freezes.

For what my opinion is worth, I LOVE using frost king. When I was running AMD back a few years ago, I would use nothing but frost king because those sockets were so plain and easy to insulate. Now that I only run Intel systems with all the damn capacitors and mosfets and chokes in the way, I use eraser around most things, and neoprene for the pot. But I ALWAYS use a big piece of frost king over the back of the board to fit underneath my pot's back plate and to cover the ram and mosfet under side.

Z87 OC formula , Z87 Formula AC , Z87M OC formula bios and tools update

    Bios and tools update

    Fix some kernel bug .

Dram Clock type tuning is including typ1~typ4 . try 1 by 1 can help 1~4dimm overclocking.

Each module has its own favorite value . Auto is already good for 95% kits .

^^ I noticed this behavior and was setting RTL (D1) 50/43 manually also tWRRD from 17-> 15 will drop tWTR to 3 ,it does makes a nice improvement

P.S. I didn't touch training threshold at all ,would like to see what Splave have to offer

EDIT; I just installed new bioses and tools ..any idea how to get rid of this (Formula Drive)
