I like the size/specs very much but do you use the touch screen ???, I would have thought it redundant with a laptop
Here's a review I found @ notebookcheck.net

lots and lots of cores and lots and lots of tuners,HTPC's boards,cases,HDD's,vga's,DDR1&2&3 etc etc all powered by Corsair PSU's
A few more test
I didn't expect it will run any game with 1GHz CPU
so I just choose MineCraft to see if it can run or not
This is a Multiplayer Server , not Single player so it may affect the overall framerate.
I can say its' playable
For 720p video it just handle fine
Turbo working yet?

I don't expect Stella Performance with Half-Life 2 : Lost Coast
but , wow , mighty little chip manage to maintain 20~30fps in most time !
( I was expecting like 10s at max)
Cinebench as Requested

Half-Life 2 : Lost Coast
For "oldschool" MMO online game (DX9 , launch in 2006 I guess?)
The game is same as Uncharted Water Online but I play in Taiwan Server

I am downloading Company of Heros to see how it perform
But I don't imagine it will run any FPS (the CPU is too slow to handle the load)
One of these should be a worthy replacement for my old (and heavy) Dell Latitude D420

Once Turbo is working this should improve scores quite a bit
PS. Just for comparison an A64 X2 5600+ 90nm Windsor clocked @1GHz, 1GB DDR2 533 single-channel and GeForce 6100 in 32bit Cinebench 2003 scores:

OpenGL H/L: 899
OpenGL S/W: 715

Were you able to validate using the original Acer OEM key with your Win7 install, or did you have to 'burn' a new key?
When swapping to SSD I prefer a fresh OS install (especially if I can find all the drivers) to cleanse the OEM bloatware. Since you dropped back to 7 I was just wunderin' ...
Thanks for all your hard work!

The machine itself doesn't come with a Key (Win 8) , and without any install disc / Recovery Disc.
I have to install an OEM Windows 7 64bit , sadly all Acer software (Hotkey , Power Management) doesn't work in Windows 7 (and so far they refused to release anything support "non" original support OS , which means they only provide drivers and software for Win 8 , which sucks )
I hope other OEM will make use of Temash ( plus Kabini too ) , any news from Computex said ASUS/Lenovo/HP will have some Kabini/Temash based Ultrathin coming out soon ??
AMD Notebook is hard to buy in local retail store , as most of them only know "Intel"
I tried run Performance test with Company of Heros *(when plugged in, of course)
at 1366x768 (Auto)
I tried MineCraft SMP again and the performance didn't change even I unplugged the power
I guess the Power profile just doesn't work and the CPU is running at Full speed
I hope the power profile problem getting fixed and Acer would provide Windows 7 driver if possible.

Sadly , after I E-Mail Acer for any software support with Windows 7
they said there will be no support for non Original OS that came with the system (Windows 8 , which sucks!)
and they will not provide any driver for non-Win8 solution (so no luck with Linux as well!)

Try using a program called classic shell for windows 8
http://www.classicshell.net/
It really helps. Also give linux time, once the chip is well understood there will be drivers for it in every distro.

Lets hope the return of the "START" icon with Windows8 SP1 will make things more like the look and feel of the Classic Windows7 thyme we all know and love.
I still yarn for the days of Windows2 and you had to start it off from a DOS command!!!

try start8
http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/
actually makes windows 8 usable
I like large posteriors and I cannot prevaricate
I will wait and see if Windows 8.1 makes it "usable" again
But for the mean time I will stick with Windows 7
I really like windows 8 + classic shell.
Also can I request a test of natural selection 2 if you have it?
