    Xeon or I7 question

Xeon E3 or i7??? I have asked this question before but that has been some time ago. I am needing a good cpu that will be used for video editing for up to 4-5 hours a day. I know a Xeon is made for 24/7 use and comes from a better dye so I was wondering what people's thoughts were. There will be no overclocking so don't go there. Thanks.

Most of the guys running WCG have their rigs running 24/7 and most of the i7's are overclocked at least a little. The bottom line is there is no real difference between the processors even pushed hard like this.....

Motherboards on the other hand.... it is probably fair to say you get what you pay for so look for a good quality MB
