It's over niiiinee thousaaaand! I wonder if TDP rumor was true? Not that it matters that much, when you OC 8350 you hit similar power draw anyway.

    Woohoo!!!

Hopefully someone explains the reasoning behind the 9000 series sku numbers???

    Why 9590?

They better make it cheaper than the i7 3770/4770k

Or they will be laughed at

    dat TDP!

i wonder how much they ask for this...considering 4770k is 345e

    nvm...

AX850 would blow up if i'd put that thing in with 2x7970s when boinc started

actually it wouldn't even get there cause my 10A fuses would blow up first

    220W =

Where are the list of compatible motherboards ? I do not believe that so many of the actual 990FX boards support 220W.

1200W power supply as minimum requirement is outrageous. At least could mention it for 9590/7990 combo but not for a single 7970 card.

The 220w is probably total power not TDP. It's really not an issue at all. People already run FX-8350's on high end AM3+ mobos with good VRM circuit @ 4.8+ GHz. @ ~1.5v so these CPUs are just the golden ones now being produced now that GloFo has perfected their produciton. Expect future AMD APU/CPUs to have high clockspeeds in addition to many other performance enhancements.

because YOU CAN NOt to buy them alone, but only in OEM PC from Maingear etc. Price only for CPU is irrelevant

But i think FX-9590 will be at 499 USD

I agree. Everything I am hearing is these WILL NOT make it into the channel. They will ONLY be sold through boutique PC vendors within their systems.

or maybe later for customers...We will see. I need this CPU as AMD enthusiast. Of course, some Steamroller FX could be better, but I believe in 2014 actualy dream will be true. For FX-9950 Im looking forward around OC ability. How much it can be better than FX-8350? +100-150 MHz maybe?

5GHz = Max Boost Single Core or Dual Core I hear and suspected as well.
