what volts are you setting in GTL? Also try pushing more volts into your RAM. mine scale and i bench with 1.98 normally. ive benched up to 2.05 and they kept going.

it should not be slower with TRFC under 110, keep at it mate. You're looking pretty good there so far imo

Thanks mate, to be fair I have stopped using GTL as it was not reporting IOA & IOD properly it was always displaying .050 when I had more set in bios. I may re test this later as it might well have been some bios/os corruption but thought I'd play it safe & just set stuff in the bios. I know these sticks run faster & lower on z77 just got to find my way I guess.

I had for the first run I posted something like sa 1.1 ioa .09 iod .06v & the second run where I thought I was getting somewhere with my voltages I had .190 .160 .130. These voltages have been crept up individually & pi run at each step to find the fastest/most consistent.

Yes the more volts I throw at the Samsung the faster they run but in all honesty I didn't go mad on volts gave 1.95 a quick run & found only a small gain maybe .200. I would have expected to gain more than .400 going from CL10 to 9 & 1.65 ~ 1.9v. These sticks have run tight 2860 9.12.12 under 2v on z77 so was expecting the same if not better from z87.

Even 10.12.12 @ 2800 they are touchy with secondary timings its this I'm struggling with mostly.

Edit... GTL working fine noe I must have bent something!!

got some emails to ask for psc sorting. It's nothing special. Find no coldbug and cold boot psc, you are a winner.

Agreed just have to test them under cold, which is why I find air testing for cold kinda lol

    Great work as usual bro!

Also what heat spreaders are you using?

My memory pot cannot go colder than -150. 90% of my sticks locked around -100. That's what I talk about finding no CBB/CB kits. My gtx3 has cold bug as well.

I am using customized heat spreader from a Taiwanese friend.

although there are some mhz missing to catch up, still fun to see them back in action. as pro said, maybe trying them subzero to see what is possible..

If mems can suicide at -150c they should also have no issues (coldbug) running 32M at -150, right?

So decided to test a team mates 2300 c8's and they did not disappoint. . . . timings wise

CB seemed to hit at around -132c and after that I could not get in to the bios, so called it quits lol

Quick run with no waza and right off the bat something is apparently off

Waza run with higher memory and, very poor efficiency

    l0ud_sil3nc3 - 7:18:938 - 40x100 - 1333.4 MHz - 6-10-6-24-64-1 - OCF - GSkill 2300 c8 2x2GB/PSC - 2.15v - LN2 @ all

everything is all ready torn down and ready for a repeat tomorrow night

thats the pot i used at computex, all copper damn nice and heavy can't mount it that why temp can go lower.

    ^must be bros

Funny pic, but the more funny part is .500s faster with cool air at same timings

There must be some sort of error filter type stuff going on that slows down with the IC's heat. You can tell if you pump to much volts you are slower when temps are warm but you dont fail.

How many times did I say to use Hypers to you and Fred! PSC licensed the chip design from Elpida that's why Elpida B is similar to PSC.
