ok stock max is at 1.15 without throttling is 1149 because of tdp at 106. but max stable is 1188 at 1.15v is 1188 for mine
    then with overvoltage +38.

i get overclocks from 1149-1228mhz on gaming flux between that.

mem clock tested. heaven easy at 7ghz but stable i actually 6400mhz.

so hitting a tdp limit here.

Did a quick and dirty OC at max fan speed with 3DM11 Performance preset.. Cpu is at 4.6 by the way. I don't own it so i can't try extreme but 1280x720 is stupid cpu limited for these things Gpus stayed locked at 1100 the whole test run.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img46/1731/3d...7801097160.jpg

They really can boost quite high assuming they are kept below the temp threshold. The default fan curve will hold them back so I'll likely tweak it to be more aggressive as I did with my 680s. They are quiet enough as is
    at stock so can't complain.

    EDIT:

Looks like I did buy 3DM11 just forgot i saved my invoice hah...

    http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6640580

This is at 1150 (+150 clock target) and stock memory. I ran heaven maxed out at 2560x1440 and had no issues at these clocks but it locked up with 200/200 ofset ( not sure if its the ram or the core )

Also set my fan curve to hit 100% by 75C, with a heavy load my hotter gpu stays at 70 tops and the 2nd 65. TPD seems to max around 90% at these clocks. I'll play around more but if these current clocks prove to be stable in everything else I'll just call it a day. I might try again if I do take the leap on haswell and or a new psu.

are you finding that these cards throttle like the gk104s? i've had my temps get up to around mid 80s @ 1202~1241mhz with the fan at 70~80%, I think my main limit is that i need more voltage

Honestly the biggest thing i've found is the cards don't boost unless an application requires it. In a lot of less demanding titles they often sit at stock clocks so boost is tied to gpu load. I suppose it makes sense because higher clocks won't be benificial after a certain threshold. Borderlands 2 is a ncie example, if I have physx on high and stuff hits the fan so to speak, load goes from 50% per gpu up to 65%+ and then you'll see boost kick in. So far its only in benches such as Heaven / 3DM11 that peg both gpus with high usage so they'll sit at the top boost clock. I'll still playing around to find stable clocks across both gpus. Currently just testing cores for stability, not 100% sure if 150 is stable in games or not. I was able to loop maxed heaven for an hour no issue though.

I do run with a fps limit of 60 to reduce power draw and heat. I have my fan curve set at 40% speed at 45C and 100% at 75C. In practical use games load in the high 50s to mid 60s. Even BF3 maxed out didnt budge past 66 on my hotter card.

I'm interested to see what the speed difference would be between overclocked Geforce Titans and 780's. The difference at stock clocks is already only around 10%, but it seems the 780 can be overclocked a bit higher than the Titan. The only place I saw where they compared this was on Hardocp but they used different drivers.

Tech power up had an acx review oc to oc also. It seems most are hitting 1228 to 1254 with the tech inferno bios. So a nice bit over most Titans thus far.

And it shows the same thing as on Hardocp: the overclocked 780 is a hair faster than the overclocked Titan, but the drivers for the 780 are also here newer.

My GTX780s definitely do not clock as high as the Titan I had. It would do 1200MHz+ no problem. I was getting folding@home errors @ 1125MHz w/ these GTX780s. Hopefully they will do better on water.

Yeah mine are sitting around a 125 off set right now, I get problems any higher it seems. The biggest thing is to keep them from hitting the temp threshold. As I didn't want to just set it to 90C+ and let it ride, i just gave them a more aggressive fan profile. In things like Metro and BF3 where the boost actually works, they stay at the max boost clock without downclocking ( as long as gpu load is high enough ) I've been forcing 2-4x super sampling in older stuff to get the load high enough otherwise they fall asleep it seems

You should use a modded BIOS to unlock additional performance potential. I flashed my 780 and it clocks to 1254/6608 under water now, 3dmark 11 was just shy of 14k @ those clocks on a 3770k @ 4.9 (also under water).

Me too. Did you reboot after flashing and use EVGA Precision latest version? Make sure to apply voltage settings every startup and check them often, they don't hold very well.

Actually you were somewhat right. The version of Afterburner I was using didn't adjust voltages. After I updated and increasing the Vgpu I am getting 1189 out of both cards. They are now monsters for folding@home.

Out of the box, my Zotac 780 can do near 1200mhz on 3Dmark and Unigine benchmarks. I really like the card and the cooler is doing a good job, @ 85% fan speed while benching i hardly got over 65?c on the GPU.
