    very hard to believe 4000 on air,no offence,but you're claiming a DDR3-1600 mhz binned stick(no bin at all for Hynix MFR) just got to DDR3-4000 mhz on air.EVEN if you IMC was gold,and somehow reached on a top peltier DDR3-4000,your ram would have to be magic to go there on air alone....

    I have single-sided MFR binned at DDR3-1600, Corsair Vengeance, so that part isn't unbelievable.

    There were some batches of these adata gaming series v2 which were the same as the DDR3-2400 binned model.
    And they were easily running its bigger brother specs. Also reaching valid DDR-3000 with Bulldozer on air was not a problem with a good IMC.
    Not sure how those will perform with Haswell. I still have one set of these, but no Haswell.

    I remember dinos did 19xx with everything on air, so this is not too far off.

    CPU -20 ~ -25 (TEC cooling)

    ram on air

    2.275v

    disable automatic memory training then work on BCLK steps and you will find the way to reach 4k on air if memory is capable 4k

    -------------------------------------------------

    before this we have tested 1333 memory and reach 3675mhz but on ln2 (memory have a cold bug)

    http://hwbot.org/submission/2461583_...am_1836.8_mhz/

    -------------------------------------------------

    I use this 1600 memories every day 24h at 2800mhz cl 12-15-15-35 stable at 1.68v (hyper pi pased)

    it's not MFR, hynix CFR single side

    beforce this test i had a gigabyte z87x-ud4h

    on LN2 read and write result was awesome

    2913mhz cl 11-13-13-35 1T
    tRDRD=4
    tWRWR=4

    43220mb/s read

    3240mhz cl 12-16-15-35 1T
    tWRWR=4
    tRDRD=6

    I've added the first two results, but I won't add any DDR CL3 scores under 400MHz, I'd just have to add too many scores, sorry. I just added stunned_guy's score because it's the highest score done in dual channel I could find.
    Will you add it now?

    Yes!

    I had only added scores done on Socket A and Socket 754, in the future I won't add new scores done on Socket 939 if they're under 400 MHz CL3.

    What about 768 Mhz DDR2 CL6 on P35? I made it with Ballistix PC5300 - valid.

    Some scores done with Hynix chips, unfortunately no validations, just screenshots. I won't add them to the list, but they might be interesting for some of you:

    1603.9MHz @ 8-11-10-18 | 1x4096MB Avexir MFR @ 2.5V | Core i7 4770K @ ASRock Z87 | Nick Shih / Avexir & Asrock
    1790.4MHz @ 9-14-14-31 | 2x4096MB Avexir MFR | Core i7 4770K @ ASRock Z87 | Nick Shih / Avexir & Asrock
    1892.9MHz @ 10-14-14-31 | 2x4096MB Avexir MFR | Core i7 4770K @ ASRock Z87 | Nick Shih / Avexir & Asrock

    1496.8MHz @ 8-12-11-16 | 2x4096MB G.Skill CFR @ 2.36V | Core i7 4790K @ ASRock Z97 | SHIMIZU

    Not sure if this counts as a record of any kind, just fooling around with DDR2 Elpidas at 2.30V: http://valid.canardpc.com/6fd2ei.
    Can do HCI memtest with same timings at 600MHz with 2.20V

    I don't think this is a real record, although it's a nice clock for Elpida chips.
    Show us the DDR2 record instead!

    I agree, this result is obviously not bad but far from a record , let?s consider it spam
