    INWIN D-frame build.

Looked like a pretty straightforward build. So I had my 14 y/o build it:

I like how the tools came with it:

Finished. Plenty of room to find a spot for the Swiftech H220:

I knew these cases were a limited run but not this limited:
    New rig: INWIN D-Frame, i7 4770k @ 4.7 Ghz/1.38V, Swiftech H220, MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming, Team Vulcan DDR3 1600, 9-9-9-24, Samsung 840 pro 256GB, EVGA GTX 780, Corsair 850W
    Old rig:Antec 900/GIGABYTE GA-X38T-DQ6
    E6750 @ 3.5 GHz/Thermalright 120 extreme/MX2
    CORSAIR Vengance 8GB
    PNY 8800GT/Thermalright HR-03 GT

    Old, old rig: FX-53/GIGABYTE K8NSNXP-939 nForce3 Ultra/1GB CORSAIR 3200XLPRO
    X800XTPE/WD 74GB Raptor/250GB Caviar

I see you got good taste in cases. I change cases often but I don't know if I'll be able to find anything better than this case, ever again. For starters I hate cheap weak plastics and this case has none of it. I'm truly in love with mine...

The pictures don't do the case justice. The case is pretty awesome. Got any pics of yours? I would love to see how you have your stuff set up.

I don't have a system in there yet, it's standing empty and awaiting Haswell. No point of putting any other system inside just for a month or two. I took some pics tho to show you what I've done so far...

Here's the pic of the whole case...

For fans I went with Silverstone Air Penetrators, ideal for open air design...

I won't be running any 3.5" drives in this case thus adapters are needed and for that I turned to Silverstone once again...

I didn't use the supplied screws as I found them too short. I went out and picked up some Startech thumbscrews that are about 30% longer...
    http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX1532

And last but not least the Noctua cooler I chose for this build...(single fan in pull not push)

Once Haswell comes out I'll be posting final pics again...

Awesome! I've got the blue MSI mobo in the box. It would have went better with the orange case but my son thought the red looked better.

Didn't think about the adapters for the SSD. Thanks for the heads up!

Gonna have to somehow McGyver the Swiftech H220 to the top of the case. Looks like there's plenty of room.

Keep us posted on the Haswell build!

That case is beast but hell no I am not paying $400 for a case unless it is caselabs or mountain mod.

Did you see the thickness of motherboard tray? There is no flex here baby. A small person could probably stand on it. I think your wrong, I can't speak for caselabs but the mountain mods case I had is totally in a different league or as I like to put it, not even close...

Looks great! You just gave me a great idea on how to squeeze in the swiftech radiator. Might have to move the drive tray but I'm only using 1 SSD. Still testing out the new 4770k before I put it in the case.

    Hello!

First time poster. Was looking at D-Frame ideas and what not. Very cool stuff everyone has done. Thought I would register to add mine.

    4770k in a G1.Sniper w/ a GTX 780.

Still some work to do. Cover up the IO ports. Get some Green or Orange fans onto the H100. Put a Backplate on the GTX. Green sleeve the remaining black wires/sata cables. Etc.

    Hope these images work....

Just from http://www.memoryexpress.com/ the only place around my town, really. I certainly wouldn't want to pay shipping on that beast. The box it comes in is huge.

Looks awesome! I like what you did with the radiator cause that's what I was gonna do. Mine's still on the table and not in the case cause my Swiftech pump crapped out after only 3 weeks.

How did you mount the Samsung SSD? Great idea!

Hey Thanks. The Orange/Green combo sure isn't for everyone

Man, that is too bad about the pump on your cooler crapped out. Hopefully under warranty still?

As for mounting the SSD.... InWin conveniently built in 2 mounts for 2.5" drives right into the back plate. So I have the Samsung SSD and I also put in an HGST (formerly Hitachi) 2.5" 1TB 7200 rpm drive just for storage. I build the black case to cover it as internal hard drives aren't very attractive. You can see it right above the SSD. I went this route so I could totally ditch the 3.5" drive trays to make room for the H100 radiator. I also used 4 motherboard stand-offs (2 in each hole) to mount the upper right fan bracket. This brought the cooler out from the drives as there wasn't enough room.

Green goes with the board so it works.
Swiftech customer service is great. Another pump is on it's way.
Thanks for the tip with the drives. I haven't looked at my case in so long I didn't even know they were there!

After getting a new Swiftech H220 system after the pump seized up I finally put my stuff in the case. I might put one more fan in at the bottom by the vid card if temps get a bit out of hand but so far so good.

Looks good Rob, but I'm hearing your replacement pump failed again, talk about bad luck. Did swiftech get back to you yet?

Forgot to mention, found a nicer sleeved SATA extension cable than the one in the pics...

Will change it once I get it...

It didn't fail, yet. I was loud but for some reason it got quiet again. Still ticks but it's not as loud. The first one seized up. Let's see if the 2nd one does the same.
