Weird, the specs are basically identical to the CPX-1 and CPX-Pro, but they look shorter. I'm guessing it's a skewed photograph. Still, nothing wrong with these pumps getting a little more recognition, even if it's under a different brand. And the little accessory package doesn't hurt either.

I got both pumps and would recommend them ! OCZ, EK and DD are all the same pumps They´re quiet (especially the DCP 4.0!) and have enough power for a normal watercooling setup. The bigger one has a bit less flow rate than the Laing DDC 1T Plus a.k.a. Swiftech MCP 355 in the US.

    DCP-4.0 is a CPX-Pro, through and through.

The DCP-2.2 is not a DB-1/CPX-1/OCZ 500. It's a different offering from (what I assume is) the same OEM that has a lower flow rating (down from 500L/hr to 400L/hr), an increased static pressure rating (up from 2m to 2.2m), a similar power consumption (within .5W), and a smaller body. Very interesting!

There's an arrow on the outlet denoting direction of flow. Or simply in those pics the "top" one is the outlet and the side is the inlet.

    eddy...

Get the DDC's or D5's and have them prefitted with your Top please...

You would be the only vendor to do that after Alex gave up on his custom tops.

I dont really like the CPX series.
Ive had enough experences with them including the DB-1 and the CPX pro.

The CPX Pro is a nice pump but its BIG.
Bigger then a DDC with top.

Oh and another annoying this is the threads on this pump is DEEP.
So on some you wont be able to use bitspower or koolance fittings on these.

You need to use the original EK's or D-tek Fittings... Which are ... Meh..

We will have something good to offer with these pumps.
    A reservoir Pump combo.

Let me know what you think.
It may not be for the most extreme enthusiasts, but for users with a little space or or beginners I think it is a perfect solution.

Nice compressions, and nice combo indeed.

I would buy it if the pump were a d5.

Im not confident with cpx series really.

I really would like the d5+top combo thouhg.

Also it would be really great if you can do a inlet that can be atached to a d5 with a base (like the pic) where we can put our multioption res.

    That would be great!

    Thanks for the feedbacks.
Fittings in progress, still wanted to add some details.

I think it is time we make a stop with Laing overpriced pumps.
Every time I buy them I have to pay more.
Shops are sometimes selling them for a 5% margin :S

They act so arrogant, that is why I was looking for optional pumps long time.
With exceptional good feedbacks from everywhere, almost none RMA's and good preformance + price I went for it.

Eddy what is the MSRP on the pumps?

As i said the biggest problems i had with the CPX series was the poor compatibility of barbs.

Looks like your using EK Compressions... However try using bitspower.

You'll find out the inner threads on the DB-1 especially wont work.

If thats the same as an OCZ Hydro Pulse 800, then in my humble opinion, they should be pretty damn good!! I think Martin at Skinnee Labs dit a test on the DD version, and it came out quite favourably!

CPX-Pro, Hydro Pulse 800, and the DCP 4.0 are indeed really good pumps. They don't get enough positive attention...plus they also come in at ~$60 after fittings (that allow you to use any tubing size basically)...D5 and DDCs can't do that at $60.

That said, I've also had issues with BP fittings on my DB-1/CPX-1/HP-500 ...the inlet port has very deep threading and Bitspower fittings just don't grab. I'm not sure if there are issues with other pumps in the series, specifically the two you're using Eddy.

p.s., the compression barbs are sick looking!
