2 Laing D5 directly to the PSU.

    Hello!

    I have a concern.
I still want to order best wiring on my pc and I want to connect my 2 laing D5 directly to the psu ( without 4 pin molex ), specifically using a 5-pin connectors.
From the red wire to yellow. The orange wire would be removed, as far as I know, the 4 pin molex are: Red, Black, Black, Yellow.

The idea is crimp the ends of the two wires of each pump (red and black), a total of 4 cables.

The deal is I'm not sure if it could be done, or in what order would be placed the 4 wires of the 2 pumps (2 red, 2 black)

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you very Much!

The yellow wire on the PSU plug is your 12V, the black wires are both grounds. The red and orange wires can be ignored for your application.

You'll need to attach both of the pumps' power wires (red) to the yellow wire on the PSU plug. The ground wires on the D5's can be attached to either of the black leads on the connector.

I tried to upload a picture, didn't seem to want to let me.

Ok! In other words, would be on the right side: black, black and 2 red intertwined.

I Don't see the picture, you could re-upload?

    Thank you!

All YELLOW wires on your PSU are +12v! < You will use this

All RED wires on your PSU are +5v! < Not this

Your pump needs +12v, however it has a RED wire. Thats ok its just a different color code scheme the Red wire on the pump is +12v.

    pump_red_wire to psu_yellow_wire
    pump_black_wire to psu_black_wire

    Thats it
