    two options:
    - someone uninformed vs someone uninformed
    - someone uninformed vs seller's second account

"uninformed" is a very kind term to use.

I'm not surprised at the price, I sold a 3x2GB HyperX 2000C8 kit on ebay and it went for $300.

Funny, Kingston Hypers are among the worst that were ever produced, out of the half dozen retail 2x2 and 3x2GB 2000c8 kits I tested non was useable at all, not a single stick did 2000c7 at 1,65v

I didn't test the ones I bought much as I acquired them toward the end of X58 lifetime.

They have cool optics, and they do specs on older Intel systems, so offering these is no crime

Someone selling 2x2GB G.Skill Pi 2133C7 for $50/kit free shipping I bought only one, looks like there's three left.

Can't believe you only bought one kit.

    All gone now.

u only bought one module lol.

This is what seller answered me when there were 4 available:

"I have 4 sticks. Price is per stick

    Sent from my iPhone"

"is this price per module or per set,i mean you have 4 sticks or you have 4 kits e.g 8 modules...?"

The Seller's description is for a 2x2GB kit. If he ships one module only I suspect a Buyer would have no problem getting his money back thru eBay's protection plan due to an item not being as described.

Well, I'm the guy who grabbed the others and today received 3 sticks total, wish I had seen Alex's post before buying. Guess it's in ebay's hands now, I probably should have seen it coming from a seller that doesn't seem to really sell computer parts.

    X-Series PSC

Definitely a couple of caveats with this one though. The seller is in China and has 0 feedback.

Speaking of Kingston...what's so special about this kit? Currently bidding is at over $300.

Man, I'm going to have to dig thru my parts bin and see if I can't locate a kit of Hyper based Kingston.
