Just wanting to check to make sure If i swap my sabertooth for a ud7 that im not gonna have any issues with slots being blocked.
this sabertooths audio is dead and, its always been querky, if set to auto it runs the cpu/nb at 1.45v for example.
Im eyeing the UD7 as it has the number of ports I need, its rated for any chip i want to toss into it, and, honestly I have had better luck with gb boards then asus.
I was also considering the extreme9 but, its so similar to the sabertooth layout wise...
also note: i need plenty of pci-e slots, all mine are in use.
2x7870's
1x Xonar dx1
1x LSI based ibm BR10i raid card
I have 2 sabertooth 990fx's but ones in my office rig, and its just running my old 8120@4.4 (corecontactfreezer on it)
figure I will RMA this board once i get one to swap into the system, since the audios dead im hoping asus will just replace the board rather then clean it and send it back as they
have many times on me and others i know...
well thanks for any help you can give, just dont wana get a board that my silver arrow sb-e extreme is gonna block slots on(got 3 fans on it if that matters, and using a cosmos 1000 medusa case )
