    PCI Express Connectors

This might sound dumb but can i run a 670 off a single cable from my psu? I have an antec tpq1200 and each cable has a 6 pin and an 8 pin (6+2) can i use both 6 pins on a single card from that same cable? I currnetly have 4 different coming from psu to both my 670s and its so messy, I just dont know if that will cause any stability problems or anything like that.

It depends if your PSU uses a single 12V rail or multiple rails. If it uses multiple 12V rails then they should have a rating for the various rail maximum amps. As long as the power draw from the card is below the max. 12V rail amps, you're fine.

A quick search for your PSU shows 38 amps. per 12V rail which should be plenty to run the 670.

It appears that the 670 under full load uses ~141W or 141/12 = ~11.75 amps. You should have no issues with running multiiple 670's off of one 12V rail feed.

The only issue that you might run into is volt drop but the length of the cable is short and the power is shared across more than one wire.

The best way to check is to run one card under high load and use GPU-Z to check the voltage then add the second card and repeat. The resulting difference should be minimal.

that is a 6 rail psu with about 425W per rail. so it would be fine to run one card from one rail. it looks like it has 4 raills for pci-e only and are made to work with something like an overclocked 480, you are looking at about half that wattage.
