Well, the results are nothing spectacular with this 16gb kit, although I'm still pretty happy with the purchase.

My 8gb RipJawX kit was running @ 2225 9-11-10. The best I've gotten out of these (so far) is 1866 9-9-9 1T MemTest stable.
One weird thing I noticed was that my kit seemed to choke at higher voltages. For instance, these settings were NOT stable at anything in the 1.5-1.65v range, but run fine @ 1.35v!

I'm sure there are a lot of factors at play here, 8Gb modules, AMD's IMC and my mem skills...

Anyway, I bought them for daily drivers and in that respect it's a decent kit.
If I manage better (stable) speeds I'll let you folks know.
If anyone has any suggestions of how I may improve this I'll be more than happy to try!

Lower your NB, many FX 8350 became unstable above 2400NB at you have aboce 2500.
Not sure why you raised the BCLK to, the cpu has unlocked multiplier.
    They don't boot at 1866?
1.5v should work because they have a XMP profile at 1.5v.

My chip has a pretty strong IMC. It's been stable @ 2.5+ for months now.

My initial testing was done @ 4.5 core, 2000 IMC and 1866 mem. It would boot fine but continually failed Memtest after a few passes...
I even tried 9-9-10 with the same results. Hell, it'll boot @ 2133 9-9-9 but it's no where near stable!
I adjusted the HTRef to dial in the rest of the system after I found what the ram likes.

I agree, but those weren't the results I was seeing.

May be on your case it's the silly story, quality range at Crucial it's enormous, some kits can do more than 1866, others can do 2200- 8GB modules.
Someone i know bought 3-4 moths ago, 4*8GB kit, on Intel Z77, on OCF, and they do 2133 9-10-10-27 1.65v.

May be you have now other IC's or they very low binned.

Hi all; just picked one Ballistix Tactical LP 16 Gb kit like these:

and here you can find my result for everyday use:

I hope it is useful to someone, there are a few info on the net about these memories!

I'm trying to test at 1866 7-8-7-24 but i have some problems.
At 1,60 1,61v (bios setting) seem ok for some bench but not occt stable.
I should try with higher voltage.

I'm slow man, but I'm still working on my kit for daily stable.
I had to loosen timings to 9-9-9, but it's doing pretty well @ 2000 Mhz with 1.4375v.
And this is on an AMD FX rig with 2.5+ IMC... Votage seems to be really touchy! It scales with v's, but my kit's pretty sensitive.
Too many v's too fast causes problems...

Like I said, I'm slow. But I'm liking this kit for AMD especially considering the fact that it's 16Gb!
I'm glad i bought these, they play pretty well with FX chips and they're a lot of fun to tweak...

Once I get things totally stable I'll post some new Screen Shots.

Not bad, I have two 8gb modules (separate rather than a kit) BLT8G3D1608ET3LX0 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148655) coming in soon, I'll post my results for 24/7 as well (2x 8GB = 16GB). I'm hoping for C10 2133 even, C9 2133 would rock though. Can't beat the price, $48 each shipped.

i forgot to tell the story about freezing them...Well after working for 2 hours finally mounted the pot properly on them, using dice had about -45 radiator temp .Went to test and got stunned.if i could do 2600 9-9-11 normal air with 1.78V on cold they did that with 1.6V!!! Sad story is,over 1.7V no post, weird acting, tried everything, not working. Also speed over 2666 not possible, again no post.Oh well, another day wasted cursing micron behaviour Seems optimal temperature is somewhere in 0-5 degrees field. However on retail haswell they are under samsung as performance, eventough on es B0 they kick ass pretty bad, they beat the out samsung, psc, bbse whatever on air

Here my results with my Ballistix Tracers 2x8GB 1600Mhz 8-8-8-24 2T
I'm not an experienced memory tweaker , but I think it shows what the ram can do at normal daily voltages.
Still working on getting 2133 stable .

    XMP 8-8-8-24 2T 1.5v

    OCCT & memtest stable :

    1600 8-8-8-24 1T 1.51v
    1800 9-9-9-27 1T 1.51v
    1866 9-10-9-27 1T 1.56v
    1893 9-10-9-27 1T 1,565v
    2000 9-10-10-27 1T 1.565v
    2028 9-10-10-27 1T 1.565v

    Couldn't get 1866 stable at 9-9-9 even with 1.6v . Higher than 1.56v (1,55v real) doesn't seem to help
2000 9-10-9 is pretty stable but OCCT fails.
tried 2133 10-11-10 but that wasn't stable in HCI memtest , voltage 1,56-1,61v

Any advice how I could get 2133 Mhz to work ?

EDIT : did some more testing at 2T , all stable with OCCT (at least 1h 35min)
    2028 Mhz 9-10-9-27 2T 1.565v
    2133 Mhz 10-11-10-30 2T 1.565v
    2163 Mhz 10-11-10-30 2T 1.565v
    2200 Mhz 10-11-10-30 2T 1.565v
    2230 Mhz 10-11-10-30 2T 1.565v

Well, my set of two 8GB sticks running dual-channel is relatively disappointing so far in comparison to other peoples' results... I tried all I could to get CAS 9, 10, or even 11 going at 2133 but was unsuccessful with getting game stability. I dropped down to 1866 C9-10-10 2T with 1.55v (1.57 set in BIOS but it reads as that) and it's doing well though for gaming etc. and some quick stability testing with tools. Considering I was on 4x 4GB 1333 C9 before, it's a nice enough little upgrade to go to 2x 8GB @ 1866 C9, especially since I will recoup the bulk of my cost with selling the old stuff, and I can grow to 32gb when I want plus this is really low-profile RAM.

EDIT two months later: The settings turned out to be rock-solid, been going strong 24/7 since.

Latest batch is .FED2...testing as and when I can this weekend, got 4 x 4gb single sticks today. Got 3 spreader plates off, the other 5 are really firmly stuck. All chips marked BX so can't tell what they are .

    These are different...

Single channel quick test for posting, hoping these are like previous chips in that if they post theyre close to stable. Certainly seems so as 0.05v can make the difference between no post and boot to windows.

    CL5 and TWCL5 no go.

    3 sticks do 6-6-6-1T-TWCL6 1600mhz @ 1.6v, 4th stick takes 1.625v
    3 sticks do 7-7-7-1T-TWCL6 1866mhz @ 1.625v, 4th stick takes 1.65v
    1 stick does 8-8-8-1T-TWCL7 (XMP) 2133mhz @ 1.625v
    1 stick does 8-8-8-1T-TWCL7 (XMP) 2133mhz @ 1.635v

Remaining two sticks will not post at CL8 using 2133mhz. Tried up to 1.75v but they got worse after 1.685v.

    Stick 3 does 9-8-8-1T-TWCL7 2133mhz @ 1.58v
    Stick 4 does 9-8-8-1T-TWCL7 2133mhz @ 1.61v

Will test sticks 1 and 2 @ 9-8-8-1T-7 2133mhz next to see where the voltage requirement lands, then move the divider up again. Also wondering if 8-8-8 2133mhz will work dual channel...

Been really busy so only had an hour for testing.

2133mhz dual channel with sticks 1+2 8-8-8-1T-TWCL7 @ 1.65v went straight in to windows

Stick 1 was ok @ 2200mhz same settings, stick 2 was not (9-8-8 required, would lock up in bios using CL8).

2400mhz dual channel with sticks 1+2 9-9-9-27-1T-TWCL7 @ 1.675v is in windows. Tertiary timings need adjustment, guessing TRRSR needs to be 5 as auto is 4.

If the bandwidth backs up the timings these will definitely replace my Team Samungs (2400mhz 10-10-11-27-1T 1.52v) as daily drivers.

Still using sticks 1 + 2 in dual channel. Hitting my IMC limit @ 2600mhz 10-11-10-28-1T 1.675v. No post at TRCD 10 or over 1.74v.

Looks like 2400mhz 9-9-9-27-1T will be fastest, timings need relaxing quickly after that. Could be my IMC.

Frustrating session. 2 hours and I cant get anything over 4m Super Pi to run at 2400mhz, adjusting timings is making no difference (even 11-11-11-35-2T). I'm either missing something (possible, long day at work) or having some sort of bios issue (corruption/compatibility). I had much the same problem as this trying to clock the 1600mhz Ballistix Elite kit I got last year on bios 0095 (M5F), that went away when I updated a few months later.
