When is Intels next release out?

Hey people, I've been out of the tech loop for a while now been really busy. Can someone give me an update when ivy is being replaced with whatever mainstream chipset is coming out next? I plan on upgrading this summer so just wanting to know what to look out for.

Happy Birthday to me. Does it offer anything special over ivy or just little more efficient?

+5-15% according to preliminary testing so it depends on pricing if it's actually worth it.

So almost 2 years ago I got a brand new 2500K sandybridge onsale for $160. I never opened it and that was a crazy good deal. So my options are order a mobo or purchase a haswell or whatever cpu + mobo combo. Think it'll be worth skipping the sandy for? I like running an efficient rig.

What do the S and T's stand for? The S's have 65w TDP's while the T's have lower.

The S and T indicate whether it's low-low power or "performance" low power. Hence the difference in TDP and clock rate.

Makes sense just seems goofy as they are both listed under low power section.
