Switching my ubuntu boinc cruncher from a desk occupier to a remote space heater ( a poor one but it helps) and it seems I've run into a problem where the remote access cannot activate my AMDOverdriveCTRL oc profile, and the volts not being allowed over 1.2v and limiting overclock (seperate issue, same fix)
So I threw the card into a win7 machine to flash the bios, dl'ed ATIwinflash, RBE, yet the 1120 mhz rom doesn't flash thru ATIwinflash, and RBE doesn't let me access the bios (it does for the 6870 in that machine).
Don't know what my options are here, I would like to be able to get the volts higher than 1.2v, maybe set a default clock to 1200/1.2x volts (does 1140 with powersomething slider at 20% no errors).
Heard mention of using a hex editor and checksums but thought I'd see if there was another way to do this first. Any help would be appreciated.
