Build a high end waterblock on a cnc machine

    Helly guys,
now i will show to develop a high end cpu cooler. At first, you need a concept. My concept in this project is a good copy of the legend of Nexxxos XP REV.2.
Goal is, most surfacearea on small surface. Here we need i very fine cuttool. I take a VHM sawblade with a cutting width of 0,3mm. The pins extent around 484mm?. There we support the most cores.
Then we must think about the yetplates. 2 things are important. The surface in mm? and the schema. This is the big unknown. There we build any yetplates to find it out. Ok, a concept is available. We start to paint. I painted with Solidworks. Later i simulated the cooler in Flowworks. A simulation, you find in the last step.
I generate the pix with Photoview. After rendering i edited the pix in photoshop.

    Planing

Ok, here we will produce the cooler. @ first, i will mill the top of copper.
    - 3mm tool, 2 flutes, VHM
    - Engravingtool VHM
    - Threadmillingcutter G3/8" VHM, plated
    - 5mm tool, 2 flutes, VHM
    - 6mm 90? tool, 4 flutes, VHM, plated

    The Material

The cnc programm to cut the backside of the top.

    Preperation.

    Backside in progress...

    Done

    Preperation?

Backside of the top in progress...

    almost finished

    Finished

Now we made a holder for Intel Sockel 2011/1155/1366/775
    We need the following tools.
    - 2mm tool 2 flutes, VHM
    - 3mm tool 2 flutes, VHM
    - 5mm tool 2 flutes, VHM
    - 8mm 90?, 4flutes, VHM

    Tools and material. 6mm copper.

    The preparation...

    @ work

    The final backside.:

    Preparation?:

    almost finished

    Finished:

    Yetplates:
    I take the following tools:
    - 1.5mm tool VHM, 2 flutes
    - 0.5mm tool VHM, 2 flutes
    - 1mm Bohrer VHM
    - 0.8mm driller VHM
    - 0.7mm driller VHM
    - 0.5mm driller VHM

Tools to mill the copper base plates:

    2mm tool, VHM, 2 flutes
    3mm tool, VHM, 2 flutes
    6mm 90? tool, VHM, plated, 4 flutes

    Made of electrolyt copper. 290x150x4mm

    Calibration:

Here we see the 3 copper base plates, ready to cut.

    The cutting tool. 25x0,2x8 VHM

    here we go...

    in progress...

    broken dreams V1.0

    Another try:

    Just stress testing!

    Impressions:

And who has made it this far is a flow simulation should look.

They seem to be very very slow at loading, I saw them earlier but they took a long time.

All the links look ok, I just think the host is very slow, I think anyway.

Well now they are not working

yeah no pics here either. Imgur is good too, no bandwidth limits, although you are limited to ~220 pics I think on the free account

If you want to see the pics from USA, go to an anonymous proxy, like here, ? pic site is censored site by US:
