250-300k if the proccessor can feed it enough, not sure if having 2x7970 is scalable to a single card
But, don't worry...SAM will let you know shortly

I would say that a single card is maybe good for 130-160K on an 8core rig, remember I had 130K out of a 7950 but at 1200+
at the other end of the scale I am running the same card in a q6600 @ 3.3 and now the card is at 1300 and I still get 100K ish
so, slower cpu and ram and stuff and with a bump in GPU clock I am only loosing 23% with half the cpu cores which in turn are running at 70% speed.
If you apply similar logic then the 130K rig with two in would lose 12.5% on each card due to only having 12 cores not 16 so 260K becomes 195K but you have a fast cpu too so maybe it only loses 12.5% total which would be 228K.
applying the same to cards that overclock well 320K becomes 240K with 25% losses or 280K if the losses of running 2 cards are limited to 12.5%
Split the difference and you are looking at 260K per day with a decent overclock on the cards too.
EDIT: something like this rig: http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...hostid=1636570 of pirogue's or maybe this one: http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...hostid=2231848 of Totalgeekdom's should be achievable and maybe bettered.

My Biggest Fear Is When I die, My Wife Sells All My Stuff For What I Told Her I Paid For It.79 SB threads and 32 IB Threads across 4 rigs 111 threads Crunching!!
230k/day at 1GHz core was what my rig did with two 7970's. 7970's at 1GHz top out at 121k/day no matter how much CPU you throw at them. With enough OC you might get close to 2 Million WCG/day!

Hi movie man I ran a i7 3930? @ 4.2GHz and I could only run 14 and 14 units and I believe it was because of the smaller cache. I overclocked the HD 7950s by Gigabyte and my numbers were about 210-220K give or take. On my i7 3770K I have it at 4.6GHz and instead of 8 + 8 per card I can get 9 + 9 and I'm expecting a report back on my numbers maybe tomorrow my verifications are back 2,000 pages with some partials in. My other cruncher is a 8 core Xeon @ load of 3.1GHZ and 16 units thrown through one HD 7950 Gigabyte only produces 120k on a great day.
The difference btwn a i7 3770 and a i7 3930? is $333.00 is the cheapest using Gigabyte X79-UP4 @ $269 (I think). The LGA 1155 I used a ASRock OC formula @ $240
