I was going to order one, but the shipping cost blew my budget

looks like a powerful card but await the GGPU numbers to find out it worlds in maya, max and PS etc) If this card is like the 580 (its OC's well, has good performance in 3D apps and is awesome in games) then I might look into it more..I can afford the current price tag though but if they cut it in 2 then..

The TechPowerUp review notes some Crossfire sketchy behavior as well.

AMD's HD 7970 GHz Edition CrossFire setup has its moments, but flunks far too many tests due to poor multi-GPU driver optimizations by AMD.
There's something to be said for a big single card, although i would also say my SLi issues have been few and far between.

ah sorry i mean the product's box writing DX11.1 with big puntos. you may say ASUS made this but i am sure every brand will do this by the help of nvidia's

dx11.1API feature level 11_0 gimmick (which is a total fraud in my book)

    Currently not possible.
According to Nvidia, Titan will only work upto Tri-SLI.

    Benchmarking not playing games...

Feel free to ask Nvidia the max number of Titans that can be used for gaming as was mentioned in the post I quoted.

    I feel sorry for you.

They said the same with the 680's and 580's etc... Not many mobos have the pcie and its possibly not official (if you read the post, selective aib's that want to go the extra mile). Yet why would four cards run selective dx11 applications and not others? Benchmarking and gaming still in the same boat... (play and display)

    Origin quad titan sli option...

I apologize for informing you of the official word from Nvidia. Go back to your hole.

Titan SLi, for the man who wants to be the John Holmes of the E-Peen world.

"My video cards cost as much as your food budget for the year! Hahahahahahaha!"

Although I'd be right there with them if it was still DINK days.

What I think is best about Titan SLi is if you want to build a no holds barred 3 X 30" monitor rig this is your first opportunity to do it "right" and with no compromises IMO.

Yep, triple SLI is supported in a lot of games, but the gains over two way SLI in most cases is minimal. Quad SLI has very little impact on game performance, if it even works.

The most annoying thing I find about SLI is that you cant run tri SLI with a GTX 690 + 680 like you can with Xfire with a dual GPU + single GPU card.

one thing the reviews have glossed over is the difference between each board company.

is there a reason to choose asus, evga, zotac? warranty difference? bios difference? add-in software difference? forum support difference?

this is kind of important for a $1000 purchase.

They're divvied out to different countries by manufacturer, so Asus and EVGA are your choices in the USA. Makes the shopping easier anyway, no clue why they do this.

I would expect $1,500. Should be priced the same as the GTX 690 in the respective market.

I find hardware.fr Nvidia cards always to do the worst. I kind of find 12% hard to believe compared to the ghz edition, when even the next worst reviews(the best showing 40%) as far as percentages go are close to twice that. Most show around the 30% region, so that 12% sticks out like a sore thumb.
