Hmmmmm......that doesn't look right. With the newest drivers, AC3 performs very well.

I'm not impressed to be honest, and it isn't even that much faster than GTX 680 in SLI either.

IMO, THIS is what is important:

could it be that the better frametimes are also associated with higher fps (if I recall correctly stuttering tends to be more of an issue when fps go < 30, multiple gpu aside) or is Titan intrinsically better at this?
Perhaps comparing frametimes at different resolutions to obtain similar fps from different cards could be worth a try?

anyway I'm madly in love with this card, the thing is I wanna buy it in 3/4 for months, not now. My fear is that for more than a year this card will only be needed for Crysis 3, and I wanna play Crysis 3 now, aww man

Not necessarily. In that graph we are charting standard DEVIATION so basically the framerate has very little impact. Basically that chart shows how much (in ms) the card deviates from a running average, regardless of what that average is. It levels the playing field.

As for the balance of frame rates, I can tell you that in nearly every situation the GTX 690 beat the TITAN handily in FPS testing.....but at the end, it featured a much higher frame time deviation, leading to a choppy gameplay experience. TITAN on the other hand was smooth as butter for the most part.

( Tomshardware use mostly OpenCL based bench, so nothing really to expect with titan in this case ( and it look like theress some bug with driver for thoses, so better wait a little bit anyway )

I noticed that testing Crysis 3 last night (heh, for like 30 minutes between downloading the thing and running the test). With everything maxxed and 8x MSAA, TITAN was running at only 37 FPS, but it was, as SKY says, 'smooth as butter'. Absolutely playable, far below 60 FPS.
