Card dead? I get error code 97 on my p67 extreme 6 board. Works fine with the 6850 back in place. Any ideas folk? I hate to RMA a brand new card, but if thats what has to happen, thats what has to happen.

Had to update motherboard bios!!! Weird, but it works now! Applied some Ceramique to the core, idles at about 30c, full load 60c so far @ 1050 core. Not sure how to OC these new cards, I pushed the power envelope to +20%, but the core clocks would change constantly in 3dMark 2011, lowering the score if I went higher. I've read that "Boost" causes these problems, is there a way to turn it off?

Trixx works pretty well for OC. I'm currently Using the non boost bios because my card came w/2 of them(it has a switch on the mobo) Unfortunately I cant go beyond 1050/1450 on my card unless I force constant voltage In terms of switching out a bios you can try using atiwinflash and use a non boost bios 7970 see if you can get a higher clock. Good luck!

I'm also curious about 3dMark, it seems that my "overall" score keeps getting destroyed no matter how much I put into the card. I wonder if this is an error software side?
