+1 for the 7770's as being the most cost effective GPU crunching at this time.
In Canada I've purchased my 7770's for $100. I've got cards from 4 different vendors and they all run at 1100-1150mhz and produce 325-350k WCG ppd which is what about 45-50k boinc ppd.

I had my a10 up to 12K ppd in windows, backed it down a little (average 9.5k) since I put a 7770 in the crunching machine, which is doing around 40/41k consistently. Switching the a10 to a dual boot system later today, will see if ppd goes up....
7770/linux more usable @ 8 threads then a10 @ 3 in windows. But I deal with it for the sake of science.

    I meant derailing, stupid autocorrect

Will this card (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presenta...pid=1468&lid=1) work with the ARCTIC Accelero Twin Turbo II or Accelero Xtreme III cooler?

No idea if those coolers will fit but can tell you with the stock cooling it runs 46-48C with 8 wu's.

It's not the temperature I'm worried about as much as the noise
