Quick comparison with some high end cards:

    Best score so far:

Details on the tests and such in our article. It's a fun bench. Hard on hardware as 3DMark benchmarks are wont to be and it's quick, which is a pleasant change.

Me too, looking forward to seeing it.

On Windows it looks like AMD has a huge advantage in this bench.... is it due to the default LOD on tessellation lowering the geometry AMD cards have to render maybe? If Futuremark went overboard on the tessellation, that would explain the huge difference in score since AMD's default settings drastically reduce the quality and complexity of tessellated scenes, if I recall correctly....

OCA has a massive roundup; Christian Ney didn't sleep this weekend. New 3DMark Tested - 25 GPU, CPU and Memory Scaling.

Looks like 7970 is virtually identical to 680, but CF scores much higher than SLI. Needs a new profile I guess?

The 7970 shows a huge advantage in that chart vs. the 680, look at the GPU and combined scores, not the CPU physics.

To note, Crossfire is droping on the combined test ... it score even less of a single 7970... ( other tests are fine )

( you can see it on the screen posted upper.. the 7970 single card is faster of the CFX on Physcs test ( its due to the combined test, i have the same problem )

    CPU: - I7 4930K (EK Supremacy )
GPU: - 2x AMD HD7970 flashed GHZ bios ( EK Acetal Nickel Waterblock H2o)
    Motherboard: Asus x79 Deluxe
    RAM: G-skill Ares C9 2133mhz 16GB
    Main Storage: Samsung 840EVO 500GB / 2x Crucial RealSSD C300 Raid0

It's a pity there isn't an SLI score on that chart, I do think you'd see something like that there too, but it's less than 1% drop in score so the CPU overhead for two cards isn't too horrible.

We have compare score, and SLI is working normally on the last Combined test. 2x 680 SLI scores ( OC ) ~ 20fps = 4000 pnts on the combined test. ( my CFX system on the combined test with or without CFX score 13,88fps = 2985points ( without CFX score is higher around 3160 points ) A single 680 run the combined test around 13fps too . ( so on paar with a 7970 ( same cpu )

The bigger difference between the 7970 and 680 is on the graphic score .. the 7970 (single or GPU ) are a bit faster on this test.

Let's just say that FIRE STRIKE will bring your computer to it's knees and you won't have to wait too long to see results.

After the first test end and when the second test Begins the program stops working! even though I Download a new version of NVIDIA Display Driver 310.90 win7 64bit and tested the software on two operating systems win7 64bit......and Still do not work :-(

Time was limited and the ARES II (2x 7970 results) is clocked at 1100 MHz. I wanted to compare one and two GPU results directly, so the GPU was clocked the same.
If you had actually read the article, immediately below that graph you would have seen:

So far, it looks like AMD is going to be the way to go in 3DMark for now. Either the bench favors AMD overall or AMD’s recent drivers just rock for rendering this bench. I did run Fire Strike with the 3960X at 3.9 GHz (ASUS “stock”) and the HD 7970 at its original stock clocks (925/1325), which scored 6626. Accounting for the 3960x-to-3770K difference, (call it 100 points), that’s still over 700 marks better than the GTX 680 with the HD 7970 at stock.
