AMD "Never Settle" Bundle Reloaded, up to six games now.

AMD has outdone themselves. I have never seen a gaming bundle this epic.

Good benefit for AMD buyers who like shooters.

Have to buy two GPUs, though...
But even those two games bundled with single GPUs are very nice.

An aggressive AMD is good for consumers and competition.

Very intriguing bundle even if you have to buy two cards. These are basically the most anticipated titles for all of 2013. A very good incentive. Seems like Nvidia is getting putting down their guard while AMD is getting aggressive.

The Ares bundle would be good if it wasn't for the two card bundle and its crazy price(you could get 4 7970's and thus 12 games for the same price). I would trade tomb raider easily for those 3 old games.

If quadfire scaled better, it actually makes getting 4 cards attractive if your willing to sell the games licences.

7800 bundle is a bit meh, 7900 bundle looks alright and 2 Card bundle looks pretty good. Still it's always nice to see free games next to a graphics card.

I would like to see a multi-choice bundle though, give us a set of "bins" depending on the card S/N with a selection we can pick from.

Do you even believe what you write? NVIDIA is outselling AMD 2:1 these days, I doubt this is a "headhsot".

It is the most impressive gaming bundle I've ever seen though.

as you have said before they are both competitive, so the question is why are they outselling them?

My guesses would be market perception of NVIDIA as the "premium brand" (like intel), market differentiation through proprietary features like PhysX and 3D Vision, and market saturation of the TWIMTBP dev relations program.

These days, there could well be some "orphaned card" fears in there as well. If you have an AMD cpu and they go out of business- who cares? GPUs are a whole other story due to driver dependency. With AMD showing up on "deathwatch" lists the last few years, some might be uneasy about buying their GPUs.

Don't know why AMD killed the ATi branding. ATi had some premium product mindshare. AMD never has, even when they were kicking intels butt for that one brief moment. The general public never would have associated ATi with AMD had they left the branding intact, people would have forgotten about the acquisition. If you're Kia, you don't buy Mercedes Benz and kill the name, start selling $50K Kias.

Hmmm- AMD should have hired me instead of Rory.

I wonder why AMD do this thing now??........I think the answer is clear

    xbitlabs

    Graphics Cards Sales Down
AMD’s graphics solutions business showed mixed results in Q4 2012. Graphics segment revenue was $326 million, down 5% sequentially and 15% year-over-year, mainly due to a decline in GPU unit volume shipments, partially offset by a seasonal increase in game console revenue and record revenue in workstation graphics. Graphics segment operating income was $22 million, up $4 million from the prior quarter primarily due to higher game console revenue.

At the same time, the company managed to increase unit shipments and revenue for its high-end AMD Radeon HD graphics cards in the channel, primarily due to the “Never Settle” promotion, which included free video games bundled with graphics cards in addition to a new driver that enabled higher performance of AMD’s graphics solutions.

yep, certainly makes it tempting to upgrade again, shame I kind of need a bigger screen for it to be worth it which kind of kills the cost saving, but between this bundle / steam sales / gog.com sales you never even need to buy a game at anywhere near full price and can still play on the pc.
