    [Case Mod] The Walking Dead - Lian Li PC-7HX



    Hello Guys... I am new to the forum... but and old modder by default... and this is my entry to the Lian li PC-7H Mod Contest... I found out about the contest on December 20th so let see what I can do in less than a month...

    The case mod will be based on the famous on going TV series The Walking Dead with a few artistic tweaks of my own... enjoy!

    Mod Name: The Walking Dead Case Mod
    Started: December 27, 2012
    Tools & Materials: Power Drill, Rotary Tool, Jigsaw, Photoshop, CorelDraw, Resin and Fiberglass...

    I took this image from the Blu-ray... and this will be my inspiration for the Hospital's Doors... I will make own version from scratch and it will be based after Rick Grimes left the Hospital... added a few gun shots... and more rust... Hope you like it...


    It took me about 8 hours to complete the whole design... and luv the way it looks...

    I started with this actual size draw of the panel that I made in CorelDraw...


    Then imported to Photoshop to use it as my canvas... and this is what happen next...

    ...well the Walker is here... so... it's time to make room for him... so need to cut the whole front panel...




    The optic bay cage is out... will cut it later...

    simple rusty fx... orange + brown + sponge...

    This was not part of the plan but it needed to be done... apparently this case doesn't have enough room under the top panel to house a regular rad... barely you can fit the fans in there... so I took the risk to mod the MoBo tray and move it a little bit lower... so here it is... it took me about 2 hours to do it... but now I know I will not have a problem with any rad...
