    Core i7 2600K IHS Soldered or not?

    Hi guys, i? need a litle help, i want to remove IHS on my 2600K and i?m not sure... it is IHS solder or not?

    I dont do that with out relevant info about solder, if it is IHS non solder, like IB it is simply...but if not, i will dont do that ofcourse. But, i think this thread dont exist because it is not necessary... SB have better temp and OC than IB, maybe this is a reason why nobody dont think about this. Just confirm solder and i can sleep in peace

    It's soldered. And I don't see a single reason to do it, unless you just want to kill your CPU.

    Don't fix it if it's not broken.

    Yes, it is solder. Removed mine from old i7 2600k but only saw 2-3 celcius drop in temperatures, now that cpu is perfectly working keyring (yes it was working before i made it keyring) with IHS re attached in

    Soon incoming 3960X keyring (yes its broken, overclocked to CPU heaven).
