I still don't understand the point of making a custom case and not include space for the rad inside...

I like the external rad with the wooden case, it reminds me of a old time house with a metal radiator to heat the home in the winter....they used to be mostly silver in old time homes, but matt black will be sleek

Long time no see. Time for new update.

    PSU sleeving is done.

And soon I will mount a few tiny details for better cable management.

    HDD case is nearly done.

I needed in/out ports for connecting external radiator with rest of the loop.

    Drilling holes. Done!

    Mounting fittings.

    And finally eye candy details.

Small update. I decide to go with clear acrylic tubes.

Till now i didn't have chance to bend this kind of tubing, so I spent some time trying to get perfect bends.

After bending I cut tubes at same size.

I still need to bend one tube, and redo pump to first block tube.

After some thinking I find place for hard drive.

    Testing height and drilled holes.

Standoffs with rubber. Hope this will kill hdd vibrations.

    Mounted on railing.

After painting I put PSU together and mount hdd.

    And HDD power.

    New update.

After short break I'm done with pipe bending.

After a few unsuccessful tries to route pipe on right side I decide to go with this shorter, simpler but not that pretty line.

I filled loop today to check for leaks, and to clean pipes, and blocks. Tomorrow I will fill loop again and test Mayhems blue dye.

    Thanks!

Today I filled system again, and added some Mayhems Blue.

I will add some more color to get darker blue, and need to make some sound proof box for pump.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to see your wood case.

    Here is another small update.

Sad day for me. My motherboard died and now i need to find another one.
While I searching for new mobo I decide to work on some of the last parts of this jigsaw.

I spend some time thinking how to close holes on front side of the case. First thought was some dust filters but then holes would lose their function.

Then I decided to use acrylic.

After some sanding this is result. Still need do to three more pieces.

    Hello guys!

After few months I have new update for you.
First of all; Some photographs were captured by phone, sorry for poor quality.

After some troubles with old PSU, Fractal Design sends me brand new.

I put PSU in case to see how it looks and decided to cut hole on back to put PSU in line with back side. Also i decided to cut hole for psu fan.

After measuring and line drawing it's time to use saw and cut some holes.

It's not perfect but after sanding it's pretty good.

For back cover I found some old piece of metal and cut it to fit.

After measuring, sanding and little more cutting I managed to drill mounting holes and it's perfect.

    Little more sanding and painting.

Painted in black and mounted on case.

With new psu I need to find some new solution for HDD mount. So I decide to put hdd in external enclosure, buy ssd and put it in case.

SSD will be mounted behind psu.

    After painting and mounting.

Before putting all case apart I did some bends for new tube lines.

Unfortunately my idea for full cover motherboard block is on hold for now. I will probably leave stock heatsink .

    It's time for new update.

I decided to put one 140mm fan on front side as outtake for hot air.
I found some sharkoon 140mm fan, and cut unnecessary pieces.

After all i took fan apart and started cut new frame.

    Cut and glued together.

    In case.

Also, I painted those ugly I/O ports on mobo.

New plexy for front holes. Adjusted to fan.

In meantime case got new layer of clear coat and all is back together again.

    Front side.

    Back side.

All components assembled (poor pic quality).

    And cables.

Thanks to fractal design for sponsoring my build with this awesome PSU.
