    Problem installing Linux Mint 14

Been trying to install Linux Mint 14 alongside my XP setup. The install gets to the 'who are you' window and goes no farther. I fill in all the info and it finishes copying the files but the continue button never turns color when the pointer is put on it and the install just stays there. Any suggestions?

You might check to see if its a video card compatibility issue, if its an older card. I had problems installing Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon 64 bit on my Q9550 rig when I had a Nvidia 9600 GT in it. When I switched the HD6670 in, I was able to go through the entire install sequence.

You know, I didn't think of that because I had ordered a DVD from On-Disk.com last Black Friday.

    Got it installed. Thanks.

Now I just have to figure out how to install BOINC and the video drivers to get it going. I tried the latest BOINC from the website but it wouldn't install. The Mint install comes with 7.0.29 but I want a version that can use the app_config file. Where should I look?

BOINC 7.0.60 works with LM14. Look for it at the April 2nd page when you scroll down from here:

If I'm remembering right app_config works with 7.0.44? and above.
