Palit GTX 460 Sonic Platinum - After Market Cooling suggestions

    Hi all,

I would like to ask for some suggestions from experts here. I have 2 Palit GTX460s in SLI, and I love these little beasties as they can still keep up with anything I throw at them.

Right now I am using some beast 120x120 fans on the stock heatsink however the functionality is not optimal and the result is very loud. I get slightly better results than the crappy stock cooler but still not acceptable. I am keeping the GPUS at 870mhz core, 2050 mems and on full load they reach 90+ degrees and may crash.

Is there any good aftermarket heatsink you would recommend,
    1)that allows SLI
    2)does not need modifications
3)fan can be plugged on GPU and controlled by the GPU (this last one is not mandatory as I could attempt to modify the fan to adapt it)

By researching I found 4 possible options however I am not sure whether the performance will be acceptable. These are:
    1)Accelero L2 Plus
    2)Zalman VF2000
    3)Scythe Setsugen 2
4)Arctic Accelero Mono Plus - Can anyone confirm if this would be compatible with the layout of my board?

Would you recommend any of the above or any other better alternative?

I hope I am not asking too much!

To close I would like to thank in advance anyone who tries to help with my query.

Personally I would look at the Gelid Icy Vision. I have the AMD version for my HD7950 and the cooler just has phenomenal performance at extremely low noise levels. The MSI TwinFrozr cooler running Warhead benchmark @ enthusiast DX10 1680*1050, HD7950 @ 1105 / 1675 1.15v hit a astronomical 90c even with the fans @ 100%. The Icy Vision: 58c.

Thanks ket..i suppose its verified to be compatible with the non ref palit 460? I think it doesn't due to the stacked dvi slots

YOu would have to look at the cooler. Unless the spacing holes to mount a cooler over the GPU are different I don't see any reason why the Icy Vision for nvidia cards wouldn't fit.
