KGB is still not working with the gtx690 right. It does recognize the card and mods the bios. After I flash, there is no increased voltage. Same max clocks as before when overclocked. The %150 power target in up from %135 though, so I know KGB modded my bios'

I'm sure it can mod you bios, however kgb has nothing to do with flashing the bios back to your card. So if you cant flash a bios to your card then KGB cant help.
    Why don't you just try?

Ok i'll check it out. Perhaps I am tweaking the wrong voltage for the 690.

ok as i understand then it only edit your current BIOS right ? but if something is wrong i wil have to flash back wich in this case needs to be re flashed or your tool has an option to reset it

thanks and very good work man !

Sergio, the tool just modifies your saved bios dump. You use nvflash to flash the BIOS.

Best thing to do is save your original BIOS using the dump function of GPU-Z & store a copy away somewhere safe.

Use KGB to adjust/edit another copy of your bios then use nvflash to flash it. I would untill you get used to it just flash one card at a time & test it before doing the other & running them together.

I would if you are not used to flashing or recovering a failed flash/card highly recommend putting in place an emergency recovery plan before doing anything. You can find how to do this all over the net but simply put you need to make a bootable disk/flash stick etc & have a good known working bios/stock one on there ready to go in an emergency. I personally fly close to the wind on stuff like this & just get on & do it as I am confident I can recover in some way. I have a saved stock bios & I can always recover a goofed card using a blind flash/second video card/onboard video or old school pci video card.

could not save it with gpuz either.

you can use nvflash, the same tool you use for flashing. dont remember the correct switches, but nvflash will save the bios to a file. at least this worked for my 680 when gpuz failed ...

Just wanted to chime in and thank CrazyNutz . I unlocked my GTX 680 reference stock Bios using default .cfg. My card has never been a good overclocker, I could only keep the core at 1192 mhz max boost stable while playing Far Cry 3 (this game rapes my card). After unlocking I went up to 1251 mhz and no lockups after playing for about 30 minutes, haven?t really tried to go higher, will update post with my final stable oc this evening.

I have added support for 690, power target, and fan control has been confirmed to work.
However I think voltage over stock 1.15 on 690 may not be possible. Try it and give us some feedback.

Could you please give me an update if you are able to implement my requests in to your KGB tool? Not asking for a specific dead line, but would like to know if its possible.

Yeah i managed to flash the bios on both gpu's and the core with boost at stock is usually around 1189mhz.
I managed to increase after the bis flash to around 1210 this is with oc on the core.

At stock ingame i used to get 1045 and 1058 now i get 1079 and 1084, quite a large boost!

Using the voltage tweaker in EVGA precision it is still set at 1175.
This is with 130 oc on the core and 500 mem on the core.
Gonna try stability and benching with 3D Mark and Heaven later on

    Hi everyone,

I'm really interested in giving this a shot. I just bought this card, is it compatible? (It says it is built to Nvidia spec, I didn't know if that meant OEM or not):

I've looked at your bios. KGB finds everything just fine, and can mod it. If it does not work then perhaps your card is hardware locked.
