    Nexus 4, 10

Has anyone ordered or picked up a new Nexus 4 or 10?
I managed to get an order in for a Nexus 4 16GB before they sold out. I'm currently a Verizon Wireless customer with a HTC Thunderbolt but I'm going to give T-Mobile a try and see if it's a viable replacement. I planned on picking up a Nexus 10 as well but didn't have the funds.

No sd card: missing since OG nexus.
    nexus 4 as a built-battery, thats pretty iphone-ish and a bad move.

The SD Card will vary from user to user but I have no use for a SD Card. I don't store anything on the phone. I use Amazon MP3, Google Drive and Dropbox.
Unibody design... not really an iPhone thing but it does prevent access to the battery... depending on your usage it could be a negative. If the phone lasts all day I don't see that as an issue. The Unibody design allows for a more solid build though.
LG has made some pretty crappy phones so far but the new Optimus phones are really well done. From all the initial hands on it looks to be a solid device. Samsung makes a good phone but I'm not big on the loose fitting plastic and cheap feel of the SIII. The Samsung Nexus devices had terrible sales figures so I'm not surprised they didn't go with them a third time. It would have been a SIII clone anyway and they probably would have insisted on a LTE antenna. Which would have been a positive in my eyes but this at least gives me an excuse to pursue ditching Verizon.

Let us know what you think about the Nexus 4 once you receive it and have a chance to live with it. I am in the exact same boat as you (thunderbolt on Verizon) but am also considering switching to T-Mobile. I've been wanting to find a way to lower my mobile phone bill for a while and I think this may be a good time for me to try other carriers. I wont be picking a new phone up until December when my contract is up but the Nexus 4 looks like a strong contender for me right now.

did you guys see the ifixit tear down, it has a 9 band lte chip on it, but no base band support for lte so it may get lte latter. the MB was also nearly identical to the optimus g.

LG actually has the highest rated build quality, but we can just ignore that since the updates are slow (mostly due to carriers only getting low-mid range into the US and blocking them, but we can still blame lg)

the battery is easily replaced, and google dose not like removable storage.

I did have one question regarding the non removable storage. The onboard storage is partitioned right? It would be dumb for me to lose all of my pictures from the camera every time I wanted to load up a new ROM. Sorry about the dumb question I've just never had a phone with no micro sd card support and am considering this phone for my next one.

the storage on the nexus is 2 partitions. so, if you have to do a factory restore over ADB it will wipe the whole thing, if you just flash from inside the OS it will not. i do agree that they need an SD card, especially since when you flash there is no safety zone incase something goes wrong but google thinks that they are confusing and slow (i dont get it but that is their thing to force people to the cloud.)

Just got a nexus 4 8gb, had an JB'd iPhone 4 32gb and I'm really satisfied with the nexus... it's working flawlessly till now, everything I wanted it did as good as the iPhone. No complaints, only that it maybe is too big, but I think I can get used to that.

So I made it about 2 days using the Nexus 4 as my primary device. The phone itself is amazing. The T-Mobile coverage is terrible though and the data speeds are a joke. I already sold my Nexus 4 and now I'm regretting selling it. I think I might pick up another one as a companion device and just keep the crappy T-Mobile service since it's only $30/mo.

Just read some review about the Nexus 10 .. outside some negative point, amazing work from Samsung

    - Amazing 2560x1600 PLS 10.1" screen ( 300PPI on a tablet ) ( The best screen never seen on a tablet )
    - Exynos 5520 + Mali T604 ( ARM15 based) 1.7ghz
    - 16 or 32gb, wifi, BT,NFC etc.
But no micro SD and 3g/4g ( will maybe come next as it was the case for the nexus 7 ) and the APN is not on the level of the S3 ( well not really important on a tablet )

Anyway, looking at this tablet, i can allready say the next Samsung Galaxy, will be incredible.
    CPU: - I7 4930K (EK Supremacy )
GPU: - 2x AMD HD7970 flashed GHZ bios ( EK Acetal Nickel Waterblock H2o)
    Motherboard: Asus x79 Deluxe
    RAM: G-skill Ares C9 2133mhz 16GB
    Main Storage: Samsung 840EVO 500GB / 2x Crucial RealSSD C300 Raid0

The Nexus 10 is definitely on my list. With the Nexus 7 I find myself going back to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 most often when at home. I love the N7 for on the go and at work.
