I haven't seen any reviews yet. The kit is still pretty new, give it some time or buy one yourself and show us your results!

Looking forward to seeing some results as well as to see how it compares to your 2400C9 Vengence kit
Ryzen 9 on the test bench... Sometimes older generation/tech as well.

I have a set of F3-2400C10D-8GTX single sided kit and I have never looked at the IC's they will run XMP profile and over clock to max 2500mhz for me with 1.7v.

G.Skill used several different ICs for the C10D kits, so you never knew what you would get till shipment arrived. The early press kits were doubled-sided and used Hynix 2Gbit ICs which overclock well, but most users have gotten single-sided sticks with 4Gbit Samsung ICs that won't go past about 2550MHz. Still others have gotten double-sided Samsung and single-sided Hynix.

The new F3-2400C9D-8GTXD appears to be an entirely new build and I have read they are using high binned Samsung ICs. Not sure what kind of PCB tweaks have been done but I hope these new kits are much more faster than the F3-2400C10D's were.

Got email from newegg with tracking and it looks like I will get it tommorrow!!! I'm excited to test it out. I have big expectations!

First test I am going to do is set the XMP profile and undervolt it to 1.5v.

My Gskill F3-2400C9-8GTXD arrived today! Kit is dated to be made this month.

The kit is made up of 2x4GB sticks and the sticks are double sided IC with 8 on each side for a total of 16 IC per stick.

I'll be testing them later on. Will also remove heat shields and post photos of ICs later on.

    Nice ram SonDa5

Could you run32m @ 2600 10-12-12-31 1T with subs on autos? Just set your cpu to default to get stability when testing ram.

    Thanks.

    I will try that.

I lowered the voltage to 1.5v for XMP profile and it wouldn't boot to OS but booted to BIOS then
I adjusted to 1.55v and again it wouldn't boot to OS but it booted to BIOS so I tried 1.6v and it booted
to BIOS and ran the same benchmarks and the benchmarks were just slightly lower in scores but appears to be stable with XMP setting with voltage under volted to 1.6v.

Now I'm going to see if I can tighten timings at 2400mhz.

That didn't work out. Me and my motherboard suck at over clocking ram. Good thing at least xmp settings work and performance is good. Maybe I would do better with a 3770k.

The best I'm able to get with this ram is 5GHZ CPU with 2500mhz CL9. That is with the XMP enabled with FSB bumped to 104. 48 multiplier. 1.7v on the ram.

Best of luck to anybody else that gets this kit. My performance for my RIG is the best I have seen out of it so the ram helped out.

You're on the MSI Z77 MPower board, right?

Edit: Never mind...saw your post over at OCN confirming you were on the MSI.

LOL looks like G.Skill just gave up on the markings since everyone figured out what ICs they were using anyway.

Funny, I thought the same thing when I saw those pics...either that, or they were in such a hurry to get these out the door that they didn't bother. Nice to see DDR3-2400 CL9 sticks back on the market (besides the Corsairs).

Speaking of Corsairs, real interested in getting your take once you receive your GSkill and can compare them to your Vengeance 2400 CL9 kit.

My pleasure. I had fun doing the test and taking photos of the new ram.

I look forward to more reviews and input on this set of ram. I think my Mpower MB may not mix with it as well as an Asus MB.

First tests with my new kit. I set out to see if they could do 2600C10 on stock volts and pass Hyper Pi 32M. Like the Vengeance sticks, that posed no challenge.

Great to hear they are at least on par with the Vengeance sticks. Do you know if I can run the mem tweakit app on my MSI Mpower MB?
Going to have to work on my over clocks. See if you can beat my 5GHZ 32m score with MEM at 2500MHZ CL9.

You got 4 sticks to play with. Wouldn't be surprised if 2 of the 4 sticks over clock best in 8GB configuration. This kit is looking good so far. I feel like I got a good deal. I came close to ordering the 2666mhz kit.
