Apple Wins A Patent For Rounded Corners

    http://www.businessinsider.com/apple...patent-2012-11

I would say that giving patents for geometric figures is a new word in Patent System.

Specialist, say this patent is hardly usable in a court law... its even more pathetic the patent refer as prior art for this "round corners" to old devices ( some are from 1998 ) from HP, LG, Sony.

As they cant use the round corner form, because, too generic, they have need to be specific on the complete square dimensions + round corner, so on final they are too specific on their design, and any devices who dont meet this specific dimensions is impossible to attack. Too much generic in a way and at the same time too much specific on the other.

This + prior art origin described in the patent, bring completely unusable this patent in a law court.

Apple abusing the patent system shouldn't be news to anyone. It is what they do best (well, next to suing everyone).

Every body in USA technology, invention, know the patent system need to be reformed, this is nothing you, this make 10 years, many peoples are working arount that... sadly, it have never move in the right direction.

The patent system here is more prompt to protect the buizness right instead of the " Invention and intellectual propriety right" ..
