    FX 8320 testing

I gave up on the OCZ Agility III drive for tonight. I moved on to the 8320. I booted up and set the cores to 4.4 with stock V's using Turbo Evo.
Ran a quick CB 11.5 64bit. Will do more testing later

    8320 4.4Ghz 1.33v
    2300mhz NB

Whats the VID on your chip Jay?
Those core temps look pretty high compared to my 8350, especially considering the low V's...
EDIT: N'vmd, didn't notice it was on the stock cooler .

FWIW, most of the "on-the-fly" OC'ing software has been a little wonky (AOD & Turbo Evo).
If you've got an extra rig/laptop try using "ROG Connect". Thats worked out best for me.

You know your an AMD guy at heart Zeus...
You'd still have a hard time breaking 9 on CB 11.5 though!

Flank3r crushed me with his 9.04, I've been working on it but just can't get there...

It is getting colder here though! Guess I'm gonna have to lug this heavy azz 800D out on the patio!

Dave, and after I get it to my H100, maybe I can try harder with Cinebench (some RAM tweaking etc). I would like 9.1 points :-P!

I got the Water setup back on. But am missing a Thumb Screw for the Block. My lines were flatten and need to un-kink before I can do some more testing on water. Temps are looking good right now. I hope tomorrow to get some testing in.

hmm these 8320 look great for the price compared to 8350

I have my 8210 at 4.4ghz at 1.4125v thinking I should go with a 8320 over 8350 for the price.

if I can get 4.8ghz on my havik 140 what do you think?

yah my 8120 couldn't clock higher even with higher volts...it just got to hot on my nzxt havic 140

hoping the 8320 isn't as hot at those volts so i can reach 4.6ghz+

im gonna do a kill-a-watt reading tonight to see how bad power consumption is lol
