I don't know about yours, but I have a panasonic that will take regular NiMH AAA batteries. A couple of rechargeable batteries would be quite a bit cheaper than a new phone. Have you checked to see what type of batteries yours uses?

I've seen that type of battery in the store before. You should be able to just buy the battery pack, which would still be cheaper than a new phone. Try searching for the battery pack/phone model number on amazon.

They do. I use 11.8 on my lone XP box but I've heard up to 12.1 will work.

Thanx, can i improve the stuttering thing while running gpu WU's ?

I mean, is there any way to reduce a bit the use of the gpu to leave some power for the machine to be usable for basics ?

EDIT : Maybe i do need that EK VGA Supreme HF, finally...68?C is increasing in-case temperature...

In BOINC Manager do you have the "Use GPU while computer is use" checked on?
If all else fails turn BOINC off completely and restart, then post the messages from the event log here so we can take a look.

Unfortuntely no, I really don't think there is no way to reduce the internal gpu usage as this is all a matter of the OpenCL implementation and the way the app itself was coded.
