Trying to get higher, but having a hard time already stabilising 2850MHz and to be honest don't think it's worth it, besides for bragging rights...

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
Hmm, not that I'd pay the ridiculous amount of money for these just to run them at 2400 in an X79 setup, but you know I have to ask so...Can they do 9-11-10 at 1200MHz?
i7 4930K
32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3-2400C10
Asus Rampage IV Black Edition
2x GeForce GTX 780
Corsair AX1200
Cooler Master HAF-X
Dell U3011
Hynix cfr will be hard to go cas9
Imo, it will shine bright with upcoming new chipset
Testing with oc formula now..

Do they have different chips compared to the 16gb 2666cl10? Cause I wonder the high voltage you need for 16gb 2666cl10...compare with mine:

Yeap, sadly I will not open the dimms to see which Hynix type exactly... far too expensive and hard to open sample in my book :p
But I already find it cool these 2800C11-14-14 can handle 2600C10-12-12 rockstable... we will have to await newer CPU technologies to see if we can push these far further then 2800MHz for daily usage...

Best thing for high clock is IMC.If you do not have a capable IMC you can buy whatever memory you like.Frequency wise,i guess Hynix would clock easier i guess if you target 3200,but for 2600-2800 range samsungs crush them regarding latency.I would choose 2666 C10 anyday instead of Hynix CFR
