I think I can say: "I know it well". I use it for all sorts of things, for work and private stuff. What do you need to know?

Ouch.
Encryption is a double edged sword like that. I'm not aware of any clever ways to break it. Depending on what I know about what the password might be, I'd try the simple, dumb approach and try to brute force it. I'm sure you have some GPUs around to use

Depending on the encryption you used and the length/complexity of the password, it may be extremely difficult or impractical to brute force the password. I would start by compiling a list of your best guesses at the possible password (a very long list, if possible) then trying them out.
If that fails and the files are really critical, you can try to brute force. If you know you used or didn't use certain characters, that could help if you factor that into your attack mode. Try oclHashcat. I've toyed with it in the past and it seems to work well.. you already have GPUs around, I assume
I'm not sure if you can use Hashcat on Truecrypt volumes. I was thinking Truecrack, which should allow you to specify a (relatively) short keyspace.
So if you think the password could be something no shorter than 8 characters and no longer than 15, you've cut some of the cracking time.
