    Ryan Petersen steps down as CEO of OCZ.

    OCZ Technology Group (NASDAQ: OCZ), announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Alex Mei, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer as Interim CEO, effective immediately. Mr. Mei's appointment follows the Board's acceptance of Ryan Petersen's resignation as President, CEO and a director of the Company.

    I remember my first DIY build consisted of DFI UltraD with OCZ VX and ModStream 450w PSU. Its still chuggin on to this day for my little cousin.

    i read this "Ryan took a big risk on Indilinx. They had a promising controller in 2009 and he bought up the bulk of what they could make in exchange for exclusivity rights"
    then i remembered the new Barefoot 3 controller and thought, maybe invested too highly in its r&d and now beat by a new competitor first?

    have to wait and see how that controller turns out i guess.
    ceo's are the fall guys for investors rights. when something goes wrong the step down right?

    under investigation for misleading earnings guidance,
    OCZ stock drops 40% today.
