Played through it and quite enjoyed it. The changes are subtle but welcomed and it's nice they didn't deviate much from the original game. Goes to show how well Half Life holds up even after all these years.

Wow you beat the game already? I never even made it half way through the original half life. I made it as far as and elevator that wont work right after the experiment goes wrong a the beginning of the game. I dont have the crow bar yet and you are already done?!! I must say the game is beautiful and the sounds are excellent. Did they do anything differnet with the sound? Or are they the original sounds from the original?

The sounds have been redone nearly in full. Some of the sounds are stock from Source ala Half Life 2 but for the most part they did their own thing with the audio and they did a great job I might add. Both the new effects and score are very well done. The game feels very polished and although the general level design goes back a decade, it looks and feels better than ever. Still one of my favorite games of all time and this just sweetens that.

i found a few collision bugs, but overall its incredible what they did.

Just finished it as well, job well done! Now all that is left is Xen.

It kinda felt shorter than the original (so far), anyone agree with that? Or was it just more fun?

After all those years, it has finally been released!

I've played almost all of the source mods, even helped develop a few of them (mainly models/skins) and this was one of the few I've been excited about!
I doubt it'll compare even close to the other released mods, but the anticipation around this mod was the greatest of all.

Little of topic, my top 5 source mods (gfx, gameplay, maps,...)
1) Insurgency
2) Off limits
3) The hidden
4) Pirate vikins and knights
5) Golden eye

Even thinking about this list gives me goose bumps. I've probably tested each and every source mod and loved them all.
