currently at 1:353:02:28:05, looks like the downclocking on myles-pc is paying off.. I guess I will probably make the badge if we can pick up just a few more tasks!

    I'm pulling for ya buddy.

And martijn - downclocked my 27 tasks on my laptop. We'll see how long I can stretch them!

Edit: Sorry bud, this is as low as I can (stably) go... at this rate each task will be about 2.5 hours, so just shy of 3 extra days...

Holy cow... just for those of you who forgot what progress has been made since, what... 2002? a 800 Mhz computer is SLOW!!!

Like, I can type fast enough to freeze this thing.

But I just realized... my RAM is running the same speed as my CPU! Never thought that would happen.

Oh woe is me!!!.......Disaster of disasters!!!.......The end of the work units is nigh!!!

I really got so few today, 3 hours work or maybe 4, I truly feel the end is nigh... I am not getting any more

We tried our tricks, our rigs down clocked but without work well, we are focked

So, good try boys we did our best to get these badges for the rest

and though we laboured hard and long I fear we failed, our chance is gone

but take heart lads twas not all bad for 8 blue badges they were had

by teamwork, selfless members sharing, helping team mates, crunching, caring

and should we hear when projects end a call for help from other friends

we'll go again for we are blessed with good guys we call "team, XS".

    Oh almost forgot........ Word.

I'll disagree with ya OC on the fail part, we were very victorious in our efforts. We can't get everyone the badge, but we accomplished some pretty amazing results. We can always do better next time

Yah, couldn't find the tongue in cheek smiley

I feel it has been an amazing team effort which may yet yield another badge and so close on a second.

I'm proud of the great effort you guys put in.

I have one wu dated Sunday but it should be done before.

Dying of curiosity to see how werdwerdus and Martjin stand and where they end up.

For a dedicated cruncher like you? It was our pleasure!
(now go kill those GPUs! Gotta give SAM a run for it! )

WD - Let us know when you make it, going hard through the finish just to be safe!

Martijn - status update? I ran out of WUs on one machine so switched it back... but the other is still under your name trying to get some as it crunches HCC.

Quoted the answer to the question I asked...

Been a long day. Will change rigs in the morning. Sleep now.

Good work werdwerdus and team...it doesn't get much closer than that.

I think you guys can pull off of my account, I seem to be stuck at 1y343 days and I'm only getting one or two WUs each day. I really appreciate all the help I got, but it wasn't enough this time

If there are any people that need some help on getting their HCMD badges I'm in!

Sorry we didn't quite make it my friend. I think I only got 1 wu today so as you say I will select no new tasks then dump any that are left on Saturday. (how are you doing for your HCC badge )

No consolation perhaps but we will know better how to approach this next time.

No hard feelings, I was late to the party and realized this could happen

I'm well over 5 years for HCC, but I'd really like to see a day where I go past 200K WCG points
