I noticed, thanks! I put those two systems on a different profile just moments ago. If you hit update, you'll at least be doing some work on HCC rather than having the systems sit idle.
    Main rig:
    CPU: I7 920C0 @ 3.6Ghz (180*20)

I just got some some HCC WU on both machines. You can probably put them back on the CFSW profile and hope I can catch some re-sends.

I will be okay as long as the tasks in cache are reported before they expire, which may be a real concern after downclocking with a large cache. But at least it is in the realm of possible now

I just dumped 618 tasks back into the queue. I hit silver earlier today and I wouldn't have hit gold with the remaining tasks. Hopefully someone can use them.

    Statistics Last Updated: 9/26/12 12:06:02 (UTC) [1 hour(s) ago]:

    1:360:00:12:35

About 2.5-3 days pending depending how I calculate. I will run my 2600k till tonight which will squeak me by to Sapphire. I can then dump my cache back into the pull (~300 WU maybe).

@ Snow Crash I have a question/idea. There are still around 1600 WU in progress on HAL-9005 and they won't dump out automatically till Friday morning. Here is the question/idea:

If you connect back to my account using the same procedure as you did in the first place will those tasks show up for you in BOIN Manager? If so, you can then do a massive dump right away of those 1600 WU that hopefully Martijn and werdwerdus can grab some of them? Just an idea...what do you think

My brain is fried ... I've been in meetings for what seems like weeks ... our business partners can't make a decision and my IT colleagues are playing stupid (well some of them are playing and some just are) ... thanks for the rant ... OK... so I had switched the rig back to my name because it was not picking up any WUs for werdwerdus (sorry dude, it just wasn't getting any and I HATE an idle CPU). I have an 8 hour cache set so if I change my project selection to only be DDDT2 (which is currently dry) then I'll only have to dump a few WUs when I get home tonight and test this out sometime around 6:00 PM EST.

Final edit (ha) werdwerdus ... if you add HCC to the project mix I can attach to your account again, get back to 'reliable' and see if it will pick up any CFSW tasks for you and not have to worry over idle cores

Gentlemen. (and any ladies here) Take note of your caches, in particular the far end of your caches on the machines that are running and proven reliable.

I have just looked at mine and seen Water wu's dated Oct 6th which means, as far as I can tell, that wu's are being issued with 10 days duration (27th to the 6th=10 days). I have not been getting many but when I first did the calculation for end date I am almost sure that the longest deadline was 3rd August but since then I have some on 4th, 5th and now 6th.

    x58 has 10 for 4th and 34 for 5th and g4 has 9 for 4th, 18 for 5th and 18 for 6th.

Now then, that is 44 * 93 mins and 45 * 71 mins.... Thats another 5 days worth just on 2 rigs (nothing on the laptop beyond the 1st October though.)

EDIT: come to think of it: If no new work was declared on 20th September, then anything later than the 30th is a bonus.

I wonder if these are the result of users aborting before their wingman has reported work done and maybe the 4 day WU's only happen once one has been reported or they are overdue.?

Hey, if those of you who have others rigs crunching under your name would take a look, some of your rigs have run dry. If you put them on a new profile temporarily that has another project so that they can get work, that'd be great! Then they can stay and crunch while they try to get more WUs.

I'm willing to leave my machines on other's accounts, just make them crunch!

I think it is an issue with the site hosting the sigs which has nothing to do with WCG itself. On the WCG forums I think you can find a thread titled something like "I made a new forum sig" that is where everyone posts about this particular sig.

hmmm. I added HAL9005 and then removed it a few days ago, sorry for making this more difficult than it needs to be. I'll move it back again in about 1.5 hrs and will post back on WU status.

OC: 2 of my machines have 300-500 tasks due on the 28th and 29th, and the rest seem mostly to be oct 1st - 6th. should I manually abort tasks when it gets to the expiration date and they can't be finished on time?

    Let it run.

units that start before the deadline will get credit and hours run if they finish before any re-issued units which in this instance is a given. Late work units should self abort if not started in time. You may find that you get some more pendings during this happening but that is no big deal and once you are through these things should return to normal for the last few days.

Remember: If things are tight on getting your badge then once you are at <2 days cache you should adjust cache to say 1.9 days. Then there is the chance that if you get some 5 extra wu's they will finish within 2 days which will qualify you for getting re-sends.

We are averaging about 50 core days per day on my account. If we can keep this up for only 4 more days I will make it! So hopefully by Oct 1 I will have the sapphire badge And bonus is that I have some tasks with deadlines past the 1st so there is some buffer in there

werdwerdus, my machine hasn't received any HCC tasks and I'm very close to running dry, have you selected to run HCC as well? I've got 103 tasks left, which should last me till morning (it's 01:10AM right now).

Well trying to detach my account, re-attach to bluestang, abort, detach, re-attach to werdwerdus turned into a massive CLUSTER FLUCK
In the end I could not/ did not abort the WUs that are being held on bluestangs account under HAL9005, at least they will be sent back to the pool ... eventually. I am now attached to werdwerdus and got a bunch of HCC so we're good (or as good as I can make it). Let's see if after returning a few of these HCC (hopefully they validate quickly) I can get a few CFSW resends.

list your machine names and I will switch them over

SC i switched hal9005 back over to default (cfsw only)

edit: i only moved the machine to HCC that had not returned any results and had no results in progress. if you have cfsw tasks in progress you shouldn't need any HCC tasks, just wait and hope for cfsw resends (afaik)
