    [ASUS M5E] Ivy 7 GHz from Russia with love

    Hello Everyone!
    I and Smoke are testing many CPU`s Intel Core i7-3770K last months.

    Today we are binning best chip from 17 CPU`s. Best CPU can do 5 GHz on 1.248v with 4c/8t.

    After it we are preparing LN2 setup:

    Intel Core i7-3770K;
    Gelid GC-Extreme;
    k|ngp|n F1 LN2 Fat;
    ASUS Maximus V Extreme;
    G.Skill TridentX 2x4 Gb 2600 MHz;
    ASUS GeForce 7800GT;
    SSD Corsair Force 3 120 Gb;
    PSU Corsair AX1200i;
    OS Windows XP.

    ASUS Maximus V Extreme is a best mb for extreme overclocking:

    6490 MHz on 1,73v and only -110 degrees. Next one... full pot.

    6931 MHz on 1,86v. More voltage...

    Yeah, 7012 МГц on 1,96v. More benchmarks and CPU-Z validation will be on next week.

    Thanks to ASUS, Corsair, G.Skill and GELID.

    1. Z77X-UP7 not available in retail. All results on hwbot.org was done on motherboards, which were specially prepared for high results and provided by Gigabyte. I bought CPU and MB in retail and dont received itfrom vendors, for me it is best MB.
    2. World records here? On 4x GPU, where not serious competition? How we can talked about WR, if results lower than 1x GPU results. For me it`s not WR.
    3. VGA HotWire, OC Key, ROG connect, LN2 profiles, DRAM timings profiles, USB BIOS flasback - this features more important for me than 32-phase VRM power system.

    I dont touch Gigabyte UP7, will be more correctly if i say that ASUS M5E - best MB, which i seen
