    Question ASUS Maximus V Extreme, Board Blocks?

    Hi..

    Is there any liquid block for this Motherboard?

    One of the features of this board is supossed to have a built in motherboard waterblock...only the extreme has not this feature.
    Unless you need moore than 2 graphics cards in sli or crossfire[I]f i were not still in love with my maximus streme p 67 i will go probably for that:

    Wich has moore riche features as gaming board,not jsut overclocking one.Including waterblock for the board .

    Today EK has a news on their site about upcoming ASUS Maximus WBs.

    EK Water Blocks, premium water cooling gear provider, will soon release two new Full-Board (FB) water blocks for ASUS flagship Maximus V series motherboards, specifically Maximus V Extreme and Maximus V Formula.

    The upcoming EK-FB ASUS M5E for ASUS Maximus V Extreme motherboard will be a single piece Full-Board water block which will directly cools Intel Z77 Express southbridge (PCH) as well as PLX PEX8784 PCIe lane splitter controller and the power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module. This all-in-one water cooling will require only two G1/4 threaded fittings.

    The upcoming EK-FB KIT ASUS M5F for ASUS Maximus V Formula will be the first to hit the market. It will be a two-piece Full-Board water block kit consisting of separate MOSFET- and SB/PCH water block. The solution will directly cools Intel Z77 Express southbridge (PCH) and the power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module. EK-FB KIT ASUS M5F will require four G1/4 threaded fittings to operate properly.

    Release dates for both products will be announced in the upcoming week.

    Of course an excellent board, if there was a Thunderbolt port with subzero Sense will be without rival But the price will be is the obstacle!

    The formula Extreme V with the sound card is 50 euros cheaper in Spain than the extreme one.And richest in features.
    And sdo not talk me about subzero.My rampage IV has the heat disipator painting out because playing with dry ice.Looks crappier than a old socket 775 motherboard :P
