    Awesome review, I been looking at qnaps for a while now for home storage. Only concern is if save the mobo died and warranty is out how do you recover the data?

    All you need is an adapter that turns an SATA drive into an external USB drive. Remove the drive from the Nas, plug it into the adapter, plug the external USB drive in to the PC's USB port, and you have access to your hard drive data.
