    Thanks Jimba

These kits are awesome, but the (other) key is imc. I can't run these settings with my other cpus.

So it is all IMC dependent I guess?

there is no point buying a kit like this if you dont know what i chip can do?

These kits guaranteed to work with specs on any load you throw at it provided your cpu can do @ least 2666.

Like any highly binned 2666+ kit, imo it will follow where ever imc (and the board) can go.

why should the board be a issue? I though as long as you get a decent enough board then it will be depend on the IMC of the CPU?

Sorry for going off topic. my bad.

Try it on a few different brands mate. I can already tell you this: you might be surprised even trying to run the stock rated settings :p

    Nice work Dumo !
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Amazing, this review managed to clock these at 2400 9-11-10, timings usually reserved only for the highest binned Hynix BFR ICs: http://www.hardwarebr.com/portal/?p=346

Didn't I test this for you before ? 2400c9-11-11 is easily doable on X79 sub 1.65Vdimm. didn't test it further as my 3960 ES IMC is a dog :p

Nice review there though I miss 32M at 2800C10... my hardware bundle sadly can't handle it... all good sticks go to Dumo land

Maximus V users: Are you setting Latency Boundary in the BIOS or leaving it at AUTO, or manually tweaking tertiary timings when clocking these sticks past 2666?

For Hynix the easiest way is to set raw mhz setting and change primaries to 11-14-13-35 1T/2T LB 6 or higher in bios

You can star using "9" in Latency Boundary ...reboot & test if stable, enter bios again and set 8 and again test....remember set and try DRAM CLK PERIOD i use "5" in 2600/ 2666 settings and 2700+ - 2800 leave in AUTO

I was just browsing memory kits over at Newegg today and I see they now have the 2666 C11 kits in stock.

    2x4GB kit:

    4x4GB kit:

Ryzen 9 on the test bench... Sometimes older generation/tech as well.
