    I'm having problem with 4 sticks 4GB G-Skill Ripjaws 1600MHz 9-9-9 1.5v http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231313
The prime 95 custom test 1344k with 90% ram usage, will fail instantly once I start the test, tried to play with all the voltage but it still fails instantly this specific test with 0.5 Round Error. Tried with XMP and manually.
If I try 1333MHz the test runs fine without errors. The same ram configuration were running perfectly on ASUS P8Z77-V at 1600MHz.
I'm currently on Bios 1.60, I guess you guys optimized the board for high performance memory and I can't get my low end modules to run at 1600MHz or maybe there is hidden timings on the Formula this modules don't like
All tests failed to get stable 4GBx4 @ 1600MHz 9-9-9-24

I did some tests to examine the board ram slot and ram modules:
    Testing 2 sticks at slot 1 and 3 @ 1600 9-9-9 = no errors
    Testing other 2 sticks at slot 2 and 4 @ 1600 9-9-9 = no errors
So no problem with the ram itself nor the ram slots.
Put again the 4 sticks @ 1600MHz and instant fail 1344k test!
Change the ram speed to 1400MHz and no errors!
    Should I try bios 1.42G?

    new BIOS P1.80
    1. Support UEFI PXE boot

Yes,tried 1.42G 1.42K and 1.60.Nothing,even 2750 not good.Same imc that did 2860 cas 9 and booted to 2900 CAS 9 on air and crashd loop 3 in 32M.This board is good at cpu but sucks bad at memory, well compared to maximus series at least, pretty good compared to other boards like gigabyte or msi

I see in this thread only 1.42K and 1.42G are mentioned but nothing for 1.42L and it is on the asrock beta section

When I use NickShih profile, there is a red led on the post status checker stays on. Is that normal or there is something wrong?

there is random red led which appears after a restart, at the post checker behind the ATX 24
When I enter the bios, then exit, there is no red led, later restart windows and the red led is back. may I know what does this read led mean? nothing in the guide.

I don't know why no questions is being answered

Anyone have USB issues with bios P1.80? sometimes my keyboard will lose connection, or the num lock led on the keyboard will keep flashing.... removing the USB keyboard cable and pluging it again fix it, just wonder if it is bios issue?
it is random so I can't duplicate it.

Really depends on the IC and your sample, in fact none of my Asus boards can run my BBSE as tight/fast as the Asrock

I would have to agree, my board seems more clock friendly then any I have had in the past and I have had pretty much every board out there.

anyone tried the bios select jumper method to reflash bios?
when I move the bios jumper from 12 to 23, it boots and instantly it shows the instant flash screen asking to plug a fat32 device. Do I need to move the bios jumper back to 12 while the system boots and showing the instant flash screen?

That is the bios selection jumper which allows you to move from the primary bios to the secondary backup or default which came with the board originally, moving to 23 will allow boot in the backup bios then just shut down and move the jumper back to 12 and boot again at which it will ask to flash the primary bios to whatever you want by instant flash or internet flash or other source such as a thumb drive. Reboot again and your good to go with the new bios, backup bios can not be changed yet i believe like on Gig boards but that might change.
