maybe on cpu side, but not for ram overclocking
I beg to differ this board has been the easiest memory clocking board out of all of the Z77 line up for me.
This was with 0.928 vccsa and 1.05 vccio with vdimm at 1.65v
and I think we all know how well this board clocks PSC/BBSE, you need to remember IMC quality is key and not all IMC's are equal some prefer high mhz/loose timings while others are better with lower mhz/tighter timings.
Than it must be that I got a bad board ... because the same cpu and ram boot and are superpi32m stable on MVG at higher frequencies and lower voltages than what I could do on OC Formula and with 1T command rate not 2 like on your screen. The board really shines with PSC, but with BBSE I would call it average, close to Asus ROG boards but not quite there.

So went to fire up the OC Formula and nothing but a click
Tried a different cpu and still nothing, then proceeded to test PSU and different memory with no avail, looks like it is time for RMA unless you guys have some thoughts.
I all ready tried clearing the cmos, as well as trying the other bios chip with the same issue.
That is not good, check for bent pins on the socket or do a long cmos clear? sounds like it might be rma time. That is what happened to my first board, my second one is solid though. I am testing out the new 2.0 bios dated 1-31 and it looks pretty good, testing 5065mhz at 1.37v with the ram at 2700 seems very solid so far.
When this happens I reseat the cpu or loosen my mount. the board doesnt mind my phase head or ln2 pot but this one air cooler for some reason must bend the board some how. Im sure you tried that though.
forgot to post this here! :P
I love asus, one of my favorite companies but OC formula is my favorite z77 board.
^so tested my other cpu's and both of them "00" on a the MVF as well, it is looking like my Z77 OC Formula killed three good cpu's (6.9, 6.5 and my 1.26v 5ghz 4c 8t).
I tested with two other cpu's as well on the Asus and no issues at all, and of course it's the bad cpu's
Hi all, not 100% if I am on the right thread but I 99.9% sure I am.
Just a quick question for all you masters of this amazing mobo.
I currently own a Asus P8P67 Deluxe board with a 2600k. What will a benefit the most buying the Asrock OC Formula? The rest of my system is as follows:
Corsair H100 Cooler
16GB G.Skill 1866mhz
2x Vertex 4 128SSD in Raid 0
2x Intel 120GB SSD in Raid 0
2x Sapphire 7970 GPU in CF
Seasonic x-1250 PSU
CM Storm Trooper
I've read so many reviews for this mobo and I really like the look, but is it worth for me to spend 200$ to buy it?
thanks in advance.

U will need less vcore for CPU,usb 3.0 ports, other than that no major improvements if u stick to sandy bridge.
Thanks for the info. I already have 4 USB 3.0 ports only in the front thought. I don't have too many USB 3.0 devices that that is not an issue.
So me keeping my 2600k it's not worth the change, if I go and purchase the 3770k? I know it's a better CPU but not by much and the price is another 300$
Not worth it,wait till summer and haswell

Sometimes my mouse would lose the power, only happens on cold boot and restarting will not fix it. I have to shutdown and power it again or re-attach the mouse usb connector to make it work.
USB ports on the motherboard is going bad or it is bios problem?
